Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Project Director to develop, update, and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring timely progress aligned with project objectives.
• Use AutoCAD to create, review, and modify architectural and structural drawings, supporting accurate project implementation.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools to document project updates, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and generate detailed reports tracking project milestones and progress.
• Employ project management software to monitor task completion, resource allocation, and timelines, ensuring effective and efficient project delivery.
• Interpret and analyze technical architectural and structural drawings to identify project requirements and support informed decision-making.

Required Competencies and Certifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant site experience in the Structural Steelworks field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills.

Job Summary

Lead the development and implementation of steel structure construction methodologies, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality project delivery through collaboration with design and planning teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define comprehensive steel structure construction methodologies to optimize project execution and delivery
• Divide and section 3D models to improve construction planning accuracy and efficiency
• Design build sequences that ensure safety, efficiency, and quality throughout construction phases
• Create efficient and logical assembly methods for structural components to streamline onsite work processes
• Integrate temporary structures effectively to support safe and reliable construction activities
• Establish, update, and maintain construction methods and sequences throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with planning teams to incorporate construction methods into project schedules, ensuring alignment with site execution
• Coordinate with Design Engineering teams to provide constructability input during design reviews for practical and executable designs
• Ensure all construction methods comply with industry standards and codes, including Eurocode 3 and 4
• Maintain focus on safety, quality, and cost-efficiency in all construction method proposals
• Support cross-disciplinary coordination to resolve construction-related issues and enhance project delivery
• Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams to ensure correct understanding and implementation of methods onsite

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Relevant experience in steel structure construction, especially in methods or construction engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant design and structural analysis software
• Strong knowledge of construction principles, materials, and safety regulations
• Familiarity with Eurocode 3 and 4 and other applicable structural design standards
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
