We are looking for an experienced UX Researcher to execute evaluative research across a portfolio of government digital services. The role focuses on assessing the usability, usefulness, accessibility, and overall user experience of existing products through structured research studies, usability testing, and mystery shopper evaluations.

The researcher will plan and conduct studies in both laboratory and field settings, recruit representative participants, design research protocols, analyse quantitative and qualitative data, and generate evidence-based recommendations to improve public digital services. Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Diploma/ Degree in Corporate Administration or other related field.

• Methodical and meticulous.

• Excellent planning, problem-solving, interpersonal skills and communication skills.

• Strong Microsoft Office (MS) applications – Word / Excel / PowerPoint/ Nitro

In this role, you will act as the security advisor throughout the software development lifecycle, partnering closely with developers, architects, DevOps engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure applications are designed, built, and deployed securely.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct threat modelling exercises to identify, assess, and mitigate application security risk
• Perform and review security assessments using SAST, DAST, and other application security tools
• Review security controls for cloud-hosted applications, particularly within AWS environments
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for deployed features, maintaining platform stability, performance, and a strong user experience

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience across software development, application security, DevSecOps, or cloud security
• Working knowledge of: OWASP Top 10, OWASP ASVS
• Experience with security scanning tools such as: Fortify on Demand, SonarQube, Similar SAST/DAST solutions
• Familiarity with AWS cloud environments and cloud security best practices
