Responsibilities: As part of the Level 2 Support group, the ITSO will function in a hybrid support role, providing both on-site strategic governance and remote operational oversight. His responsibilities include:
- Leading and participating in security governance meetings and risk assessment workshops with all stakeholders.
- Conducting periodic physical security assessments of the data centre environment.
- Providing direct, on-site support and coordination during critical security incidents.
- Acting as the security subject matter expert during on-site audits.
- Continuously monitoring security consoles and dashboards for threats and anomalies.
- Analysing security logs and alerts to identify potential security incidents.
- Developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Supporting vulnerability management by analysing scan results and coordinating remediation plans.
- Certifications: ECIH, ISO27000 Lead Auditor & Implementer, CISM.
