Project Overview

This project aims to develop a real-time blood analysis and diagnostic platform using an integrated microfluidic chip. This platform uses precision microfluidic technology to process and profile the biological activity of white blood cells which is related to a host of inflammatory conditions ranging from diabetes, sepsis to leukemia. The platform developed will enable point-of-care diagnosis of diseases and this project will accelerate the platform from bench to bedside through the development, deployment and testing of clinical samples.

Responsibilities

The engineer is responsible for the design, prototype, manufacturing and testing of the medical device. This involves the use of with computer-aided design prototyping, setting specifications and assembly of mechnical/electrical components, testing and deployment of device for field testing.

Responsibilties include:

- To work closely with a team of clinical, mechanical/software engineers and data scientist for the medical device design and prototyping. Gather feedbacks on prototype designs by end-users.

• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Experience with manual testing and defect tracking tools

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network L2 Engineer to join our ICT Infrastructure team. As a Network L2 Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our network infrastructure, which includes Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, Cisco switches, Alcatel, Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM), and other related devices. You will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our network services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Maintenance and Support

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on LAN and WLAN network devices, including firmware updates, patches, and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Monitor network performance and proactively address bottlenecks or anomalies.

2. Firewall Management

• Configure, manage, and maintain Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls to ensure network security.
• Implement and maintain firewall policies to control traffic and protect against threats.

3. Switch Management

• Configure and manage Cisco switches, ensuring optimal performance and network segmentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity issues.

4. Access Control and Authentication

• Administer Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) for user authentication and access control.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

5. Documentation

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and asset inventory.

6. Collaboration

• Collaborate with other teams, including system administrators and security experts, to achieve common network goals.

7. Security Compliance

• Ensure that network configurations and policies comply with industry best practices and security standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: 3-8+ years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure operations.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Firewalls: Proven hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Check Point platforms.

  • Switching: Strong working knowledge of Cisco routing and switching.

  • Access Control: Proficiency in managing Aruba ClearPass (CPPM) or similar NAC solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Preferred certifications include CCNP, PCNSA/PCNSE (Palo Alto), CCSA/CCSE (Check Point), or Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP).

• Strong analytical thinking, excellent documentation habits, and a collaborative mindset for working within a cross-functional IT team.
