The role focuses on developing low-latency, high-throughput applications that support algorithmic trading, real-time market data processing, and order execution across asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-latency trading systems for order execution and market data processing
• Build and enhance algorithmic trading platforms (e.g., VWAP, TWAP, POV strategies)
• Develop event-driven architectures for real-time trading workflows
• Integrate and process market data feeds (e.g., exchange or vendor feeds) with microsecond-level latency considerations
• Implement and support FIX protocol-based messaging systems for trade lifecycle events
• Optimize system performance, latency, and throughput using advanced profiling and monitoring tools
• Develop reusable components and frameworks to accelerate trading platform development
• Collaborate with quants, traders, and business stakeholders to translate trading strategies into technical solutions
• Contribute to automation, testing, and benchmarking frameworks to improve system reliability and efficiency
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of trading applications
• Participate in production support and incident resolution for critical trading systems

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Core Java (or similar JVM languages) for low-latency systems
• Proven experience building high-performance, real-time trading or financial systems
• Solid understanding of data structures, multithreading, and concurrency
• Experience with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, messaging systems, or disruptor patterns)
• Hands-on experience with FIX Protocol and order management workflows
• Knowledge of market data systems and trading infrastructure
• Experience with performance tuning, latency optimization, and system profiling tools
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience in algorithmic trading systems or execution engines
• Exposure to equities, derivatives, or multi-asset trading platforms
• Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems architecture
• Experience with Python or scripting for automation and analytics
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus)
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes) in trading environments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
