Responsibilities:

· Service the range of Industrial, Advanced and Portable Metrology that we sell for dimensional measurement, defects analysis, quality and reverse engineering. Service the range of in-line checkweighers, X-ray and metal detectors that we sell for automated weight, hazard point and quality control for food, pharma and industrial applications. This includes installing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repairs, preventive maintenance and calibrations.

· Perform work assignments in efficient and methodical fashion, and in its course, also keep in touch with customers, to actively improve customer satisfaction with us/our products

· Update CRM on timely and effective basis for team-wide follow up and teamwork support

· Report to the Service Manager or as assigned

· At times, you may be required to support installations in other parts of the region

Pre-requisites:

· Recognised Diploma in EEE, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering

· 3 to 5years relevant working experience in service preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply training to be provided

· A “service heart” with good knowledge of instrumentation and deriving satisfaction in getting systems back into operations efficiently and effectively

·        An interest in metrology and quality as a deliverer of manufacturing competitiveness

·        A team player with strong inter-personal communications skills, high integrity and discipline

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of end-to-end application development, integrating frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant web applications.
• Implement modern frontend architectures, ensuring reusability, scalability, and security.
• Develop high-performance backend services and APIs, ensuring reliability, security, and observability.

Requirements

As a Senior IT System Engineer, you'll tackle challenging problems, design innovative architectures, and build scalable solutions utilizing virtualization and networking technologies to make a real difference.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, operate, and maintain on-premises Windows and Linux server environments
• Administer virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) and enterprise storage systems (SAN/ NAS) to ensure system availability, performance, and capacity planning
• Perform daily infrastructure operations, monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and permanent remediation
• Support and administer network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs
• Implement system hardening, patch management, and security best practices across infrastructure components
• Operate infrastructure in accordance with ISO standards, CIS benchmarks, and GxP requirements
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, change records, validation documents, and infrastructure diagrams
• Implement, monitor, and periodically test backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Support hybrid/cloud initiatives, automation, and infrastructure improvement projects in collaboration with other teams

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, and other IT-related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in on-premises IT infrastructure operations.
• Strong experience with:

1. Microsoft Windows Server (2003–2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
2. Linux server administration (at least one major distribution)
3. Virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
4. Enterprise storage (SAN / NAS)
5. Core networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewall, VPN)

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues independently
