Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Expert to design and optimize our core systems architecture while driving technological innovation. This role will provide technical leadership across our product development, cloud infrastructure, data architecture, and AI initiatives while mentoring our technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Architecture Design & Optimization
• Design and optimize scalable, secure, and highly available system architectures for core platforms.
• Establish technical standards and best practices to guide development teams.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide expert guidance.
2. Product Development & Innovation
• Contribute to product technology roadmaps with feasibility analysis and recommendations.
• Lead the design and development of critical technical modules to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Drive continuous innovation and product iteration to enhance user experience.
• Conduct technical reviews to uphold code quality and system performance standards.
3. Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
• Design and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) to improve performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipeline optimization.
• Develop system monitoring and alerting strategies to ensure service reliability.
• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
4. Data Architecture & AI
• Design and implement robust data architectures for efficient processing and analytics.
• Develop and refine AI/ML models to enhance product intelligence.
• Ensure compliance with global data protection regulations (e.g., PDPA, GDPR).
• Promote data-driven decision-making and product innovation.
5. Technical Leadership
• Mentor and upskill technical team members to elevate overall capabilities.
• Organize knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs.
• Participate in technical talent acquisition and evaluation.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with other departments.
6. Technology Risk Management
• Identify and mitigate risks related to security, performance, and technical debt.
• Develop and enforce security policies and best practices.
• Evaluate third-party vendors for security and reliability compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
• 8+ years in technical development and architecture, including 3+ years in senior technical roles.
• Professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect) is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in internet/technology sectors (SaaS, cloud services, AI, or big data).
• Experience leading complex technical projects from conception to deployment.
• Startup or high-growth company experience is advantageous.
• Fluency in English and Chinese to liaise with counterparts.
Technical Expertise
• Mastery of modern architectures (microservices, serverless, etc.).
• Deep cloud platform expertise (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Proficiency in multiple languages/frameworks (Java, Python, Node.js, React).
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML, big data, DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection standards.
