Job Description

Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud and Network Administrator) is responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes administering servers, storage, and networking components, ensuring business continuity through proactive maintenance, and providing frontline technical support. The role also contributes to documentation, operational process improvements, and compliance with IT security and regulatory standards.

Duties and responsibilities

·        Administer, monitor, maintain and optimize WAN, LAN and Wi-Fi networks (on-prem and cloud) for optimal performance and maximum availability.

·        Ensure all the Network devices (Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, Wireless LAN Controllers) & Firewalls remains in good working condition.

·        Configure, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues within Network and Security areas, including performance and capacity issues.

·        Respond to production issues speedily, including bringing up the defective hardware during and after office hours.

·        Taking the lead in updating & documenting all Network configuration, Firmware, Network diagrams and all the cabling for all the End-Devices.

·        Define processes to manage the Network infrastructure; identify and drive service improvement initiatives to improve overall network operation quality and productivity.

·        Work with vendor to manage and coordinate the infrastructure security reviews, assessments and penetration tests.

·        Work with the cyber security team in the remediation of network related vulnerabilities.

·        Perform patching, updates, and upgrades to ensure security, performance, and compliance.

·        Execute and verify regular backups, test disaster recovery procedures, and support business continuity planning.

·        Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents escalated from the helpdesk or monitoring systems.

·        Document system configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.

·        Monitor and report on system performance, availability, and capacity metrics.

·        Support IT audits, compliance checks, and remediation of vulnerabilities.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support application deployments and infrastructure changes.

Qualifications

·        Diploma / Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science / Information Technolog yor relevant discipline.

·        At least 2 years of relevant working experience in network administration.

·        Familiar with the following Network configuration & setup :BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN Tunnel (GRE & IPSec), VRF, HSRP / VRRP, QoS, IP FlowTop Talkers, IP Accounting, ARP, NAT, PAT, Port Channel, VXLAN, Policy Routing.

·        Familiar with Security Appliances such as Fortigate, and/or PaloAlto.

·        Have experience with Security Remediation Audit and RFP / RFQ Tender requirements.

·        A motivated person with the ability to work independently, a good team player and goal-oriented individual.

·        Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.

·        Certifications (preferred, but not mandatory):

o   Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

o   AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

o   CompTIA Server+ or Network+

o   ITIL Foundation certification

Skills

·        Strong troubleshooting and system monitoring abilities.

·        Proficiency in performing system backups, recovery testing, and patch management.

·        Ability to automate routine tasks using basic scripting(PowerShell, Bash, Ansible).

·        Competence in using monitoring and ticketing tools.

·        Clear and structured documentation and reporting skills.

·        Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks in adynamic environment.

How you'll contribute

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, translating AI model outputs, limitations, and best practices into clear, actionable strategies.
• Guide customers through critical decisions such as accuracy vs. latency vs. cost
• Provide hands-on technical guidance across API integrations, data flows, AI workflow design and orchestration, and system architecture for scalability and reliability.
• Ensure solutions are built for production, not just pilots.
• Surface customer feedback, recurring pain points, and feature gaps as an internal advocate - working closely with Product, Development, and Engineering (PDE) to influence roadmap and improve the platform.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers on account strategy and adoption, and partner with Sales on technical validation where needed.

Who you are

• 4–6+ years in Technical Consulting, Solutions Engineering, or similar roles in SaaS or AI environments.
• Proven experience working with enterprise customers on complex, production-grade implementations.
• Strong understanding of APIs, system integration, workflow design, and AI systems (e.g. prompt engineering, semantic matching, LLMs, document processing, automation workflows).
• Ability to reason through system tradeoffs and architecture decisions.
• Excellent communicator - able to translate complex technical concepts into plain language for customers and stakeholders, with patience and empathy.
• Comfortable with the dynamic nature of AI, including the unique risks posed by LLM-based applications such as prompt injection and hallucination.
• Familiar with tools like Jira, Slack, HubSpot, Notion, or equivalent.

Job Description 

We are looking for a highly motivated Infra Engineer / Senior Engineer, Network to design, implement, and optimise enterprise/campus and data centre network infrastructure. 

In this role, you will work on end-to-end network solutions—from translating high-level architecture into detailed designs, to validating performance, ensuring security compliance, and driving operational excellence. 

What will you do? 

- Translate high-level network architecture into detailed technical designs, including physical and logical diagrams, traffic flows, and failover plans. 

- Prepare clear and concise requirement documents and component-level design validations for simple to complex network solutions. 

- Maintain accurate documentation such as test plans, traceability matrices, and design artefacts, ensuring alignment across the project lifecycle. 

- Configure and implement network infrastructure in accordance with the design and security requirements. 

- Perform baseline security configuration of devices to meet compliance and best practices. 

- Use network management tools to monitor, analyse, and report on network performance and status. 

- Participate in root-cause investigations, validating proper operation of network installations. 

- Resolve routine to complex network issues by applying diagnostic tools and employing structured troubleshooting methods. 

- Develop and execute test plans to validate network performance, reliability, and integration. 

- Conduct functional and integration tests, document results, and clearly report issues or risks. 

- Link requirements to test cases with proper traceability to ensure end-to-end validation of solutions investigations, validating proper operation of network installations. 

- Able to work independently and also to work in a team.

This role is the critical link between the end-client and internal technical squads. You will be responsible for orchestrating the delivery of modern digital solutions that directly impact educational environments, specifically focusing on EUC rollouts and infrastructure enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Orchestration: Drive the end-to-end lifecycle between the client and internal technical teams to ensure seamless delivery.

• Pre-Sales & PoC Support: Facilitate and lead Pre-Sales activities, Proof of Concepts (PoC), and the initial solutioning phases.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface for the client; manage expectations, follow up on deliverables, and provide project transparency.

• Internal Leadership: Drive internal technical teams to meet project milestones across Cloud, Security, Networking, and Infrastructure domains.

• Project Documentation: Own the creation and management of comprehensive requirement documents and project roadmaps.
