Job Summary
Lead the management of IT infrastructure and enterprise applications to support Modern Engineering’s digital transformation. Drive cybersecurity, compliance, and system reliability while enabling staff through training and support.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and software solutions to ensure operational efficiency
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity and data protection measures to safeguard company information and assets
- Evaluate, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, Xero, and AutoCAD for business needs
- Ensure continuous operation and security of network systems, cloud platforms, and data backup processes
- Monitor and maintain secure access control systems, including CCTV and IP integrations, to protect company premises
- Coordinate with vendors to procure IT equipment and manage system upgrades aligned with business requirements
- Ensure compliance with PDPA, MOM regulations, and relevant industry standards through regular audits and policy enforcement
- Lead internal IT policy implementation and conduct system audits to identify and mitigate risks
- Provide timely troubleshooting support and deliver IT training to company staff to enhance technology adoption
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Network Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of IT management experience, preferably within construction or infrastructure sectors
- Proficient in network administration, cybersecurity frameworks, system integration, and enterprise software management
- Familiarity with construction-related software such as AutoCAD, project management tools, and Xero
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, PMP, or ITIL are highly preferred for enhanced expertise
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills to resolve complex IT issues and liaise with stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with high accountability and perform effectively under pressure
