Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive site supervision for all architectural and interior design works.
• Review all drawings and specifications to ensure site execution is carried out in accordance with the approved plans/ drawings and specifications.
• Assist the Architect/Designer in site supervision and facilitate seamless coordination with other consultants’ site staff. Highlighting discrepancies, providing feedback on site progress, safety, and non-conformances to the Consultants and Client.
• Conduct quality control checks of all architectural finishing works, including the inspection of materials, finishes, and workmanship standards.
• Proactively highlight discrepancies, safety concerns, and non-conformances to the Consultants and the Employer.
• Provide formal weekly reports summarizing site activities, identified issues, proposed corrective actions, and the status of implemented solutions.
• Attend meetings at the Client’s office or on-site to address technical matters and project-related concerns as necessary.
• Perform necessary material tests and highlight any deviations during joint testing, commissioning, and inspections to ensure a smooth transition to operational occupancy.
• Assist the Architect/ Designer in carrying out supervision works on site and assist in supervising & coordination with other consultants' site staff.
• Assist in reviewing the Contractor’s method statements and ensure works proceed according to these approved procedures.
• Maintain and submit detailed daily site records, including work progress, site instructions, material deliveries, manpower counts, weather conditions, visitor logs, and any other significant information.
• Attend site coordination meetings as directed to manage day-to-day operational issues.
• Familiarize with project nuances to facilitate the resolution of post-construction defects and address user feedback during the handover phase.
• Prepare comprehensive defect snagging lists, monitor the progress of rectification works, and verify that all defects are satisfactorily resolved
• Ensure all contractor activities and installations comply with prevailing statutory requirements and local building codes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of site supervision experience across a diverse range of developments.
• Valid accreditation with the IES (Institute of Engineers Singapore) is highly advantageous.
• Track record in supervising Additions & Alterations (A&A) works within institutional buildings, including the oversight of demolition and new structural construction.
• Prior experience in managing Architectural and Interior Design (ID) fit-out works.
• Must be able to perform night work and oversee site activities outside of standard operating hours.

Expected Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm (inclusive of 1-hour break)

• Saturday: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Roles and Responsibilities

· Software Development:

- Collaborate with the tech team to develop web applications and software plugins;

- Handle both frontend and backend development (including design, testing, programming), ensuring seamless integration of user interfaces with server-side logic’

- Integrate software solutions with existing business systems;

· Deployment, Security and Maintenance:

- Deploy digital solutions to various environments, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability;

- Implement security measures for applications, such as securing APIs, managing authentication and authorization mechanisms, and ensuring data integrity;

- Monitor, maintain, and improve the performance of deployed applications, including bug-fixing;

· Technical Collaboration:

- When needed, work with stakeholders to understand requirements and technical specifications to deliver functional solutions;

- Collaborate with designers, architects, and other team members to ensure solutions meet user needs and project goals;

· Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure high-quality, error-free applications;

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the establishment of best practices;

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;

· Technical Skills:

Experience in:

- Frontend technologies: Angular 18+;

- Backend technologies:

· FastAPI;

· ASP.NET Core and C# (to develop plugins);

- Database technologies: Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB;

- Deployment technologies: Docker;

- Version control: Git;

Responsibilities

Technical Standards & Documentation

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s standard detail drawings, BIM content libraries, and technical specifications;
• Review and validate technical drawings and BIM models to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with project, authority, and regulatory requirements;
• Establish best practices for detailing standards and digital documentation workflows;

BIM, ISO & CORENET Compliance

• Develop, implement, and monitor documentation and BIM workflows in accordance with ISO standards, including ISO 19650, ISO 9001 etc;
• Support digital submission processes via CORENET (e-Submission, BIM submission where applicable), ensuring models meet authority requirements;
• Ensure all project teams adhere to BIM Execution Plans (BEP), naming conventions, classification systems, and data management protocols;
• Conduct periodic audits of BIM models and documentation to maintain compliance and quality;
• Organise and conduct site visits to projects construction sites for site learning;
• Provide feedback to improve detailing standards based on site observations and lessons learned;

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Guide and mentor junior technical staff on drafting standards, BIM workflows, and submission requirements;
• Conduct internal training sessions to upskill team members in BIM tools, CORENET processes, and technical coordination;
• Support capability development within the team to enhance overall technical competency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field;
• Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in technical coordination, detailing, and BIM implementation;
• Strong knowledge of construction detailing, materials, and building systems;
• Proficiency in BIM and CAD software (e.g. Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD);
• Familiarity with BIM standards and ISO-aligned workflows (especially ISO 19650);
• Hands-on experience with CORENET submissions and understanding of authority requirements (BCA, URA, SCDF);
• Good coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills;
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects is an advantage.

Job Description

• Able to work within a team and resolve issues associate with site inspection.
• Provide weekly reports on site activities, including identified issues, proposed action plans, and solutions implemented to resolve them.
• Attend meetings at the client’s office or work site, as necessary, to address site-related issues and other project matters.

• To take and carry out instructions from and represent the M&E Consultant.
• To carry out other related duties assigned to you by the project manager, consultants or its representative from time to time.
• To ensure proper implementation of instructions and plans emanating from Qualified Person(s).
• To report to the Qualified Person(s) and to assist the Qualified Person(s) in carrying out regular supervision of Mechanical & Electrical installation works in respect of projects/s under your charge.
• To supervise works to comply with statutory requirements and specifications.
• To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions, including approved plans.
• To assist the Qualified Person(s) to supervise the contractors and co-ordinate with consultants to ensure work on site is done to achieve the objectives of quality and timeliness.
• To take prompt action to ensure contractor rectify poor quality materials or items that are in use which may lead to poor reception or cause unnecessary defects to the surrounding Structural, Architectural and Mechanical & Electrical installations.
• To review project drawings and specifications, and raise any discrepancies and/or potential problems to the appointed Qualified Person and project consultants/clients
• To submit site reports on projects performance and progress on a weekly basis.
• To compile relevant equipment, material, inspection and test certificated submitted by the contractors as required for the project records.
• To meet with project manager and consultants during site visit as and when required.

• To ensure that proper and updated records of all works, including records of variation works, tests, inspections, work progress, materials and equipment/machinery on site, labour safety, provisional quantities, dayworks, etc, are kept.
• To help resolve contractor’s queries and coordinate the works with other contractors.
• To witness all inspections, testing and commissioning sessions performed by Sub-contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards, designs and specifications. To maintain records of tests carried out.
• To check as-built drawings and Operation & Maintenance Manual.
• To inspect and assist with handing / taking over of completed works.
• To prepare defect lists, monitor progress of rectification works and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified.
• To maintain proper and updated daily records of all works done, including records of tests, inspections, status of work, safety, site diary, material and equipment on site, labour, dayworks, provisional quantities, etc.
• To verify reports and claims submitted by Contractors and ensure proper documentation of project correspondences on site.
• To verify that all constructed works are in accordance with approved authorities drawings prior to any authorities inspection.
• To assist Consultants to organise formal inspections.

Requirements

• Possess at least a recognised Diploma/Nitec in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering/ Building
• Preferably Registered Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES
• Site supervision experience in A&A works for institution building, inclusive new lift installation.
• The RTO-M&E shall have minimum eight (8) years of experience as an RTO, of which at least eight (8) years shall be in supervision of works similar
• Must be willing to perform night works.
