Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Fortinet and Juniper firewalls and switches to ensure network security and reliability
• Lead and manage network and security projects from initial planning through successful implementation and delivery
• Develop and deliver technical training sessions and presentations to team members and end-users to enhance knowledge and skills
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and manage third-party vendors to support network operations
• Execute ad-hoc tasks assigned by management to support business and technical objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT Networking or a related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a system integrator (SI) environment with network and security exposure
• Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot Fortinet and Juniper firewalls and switches
• Demonstrated capability to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical skills applied to network security and troubleshooting tasks
• Effective communication skills for technical and client interactions
• Experience implementing network security projects
• Willingness to work extended and after-office hours when required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Exposure to GPU servers, network analyzers, load balancers, or endpoint protection tools

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize network solutions while proactively identifying and resolving complex network challenges. You will ensure seamless operations and security, develop solutions, standardize best practices, and mentor junior team members to uphold operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and scalability aligned with business needs
• Configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to enhance network performance
• Monitor network performance continuously, diagnose issues promptly, and implement solutions to minimize downtime
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex network-related incidents to maintain operational continuity
• Mentor and guide junior network engineers to build team capability and maintain high standards
• Maintain and update comprehensive technical documentation including network configurations, changes, and incident reports for accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and ensure seamless network operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CCNP, NSE, or equivalent are advantageous but not mandatory
• Experience with mainstream network products including Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network security technologies (VPN, IDS/IPS)
• Expertise in packet capture analysis and understanding of network physical and logical topologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform effectively under high-pressure situations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
