About the Role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Data Center Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical projects in Singapore.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings hands-on experience managing data center infrastructure deployments from initial planning through to final client handover.

Key Responsibilities

• As a key project lead, you will take full ownership of project execution and delivery:
• Lead end-to-end delivery of data center infrastructure projects
• Engage clients early to define project scope, requirements, and technical solutions
• Plan and coordinate logistics, including shipping, material readiness, and site preparation
• Oversee on-site implementation, including:

1. Rack installation
2. rPDU deployment
3. Hot and cold aisle containment systems
4. Cable tray and structured cabling works
5. Cage installation
6. Access control systems and CCTV

• Act as the primary point of contact between clients, vendors, and data center operators
• Provide regular progress updates and maintain clear stakeholder communication
• Monitor project timelines, quality standards, and risk factors to ensure smooth execution
• Lead testing, commissioning, and final acceptance and handover processes

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience delivering data center infrastructure or fit-out projects
• Strong technical knowledge of racks, rPDUs, containment systems, and cable management infrastructure
• Ability to independently manage projects with a high degree of ownership and accountability
• Detail-oriented with a structured approach to project execution and quality assurance
• Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders
• Proactive problem solver with the ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field preferred
• PMP certification is highly preferred
• Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Data Center infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and business needs.
• Oversee all project activities, including resource allocation, procurement, and scheduling, to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Supervise project teams, ensuring collaboration across various departments and external vendors to meet project objectives.
  Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and resolutions.
• Manage scope changes, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project timelines, and budgets.
• Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on timelines and budgets.
• Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately and projects stay on track.
• Work closely with the Procurement team to manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of resources.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong background in managing Data Center projects, including infrastructure setup (rack and stack, power/cooling, network setup).
• Familiarity with Data Center technologies such as server hardware, storage systems, network devices, and virtualization platforms.
• In-depth understanding of project phases from initiation to handover, with a focus on execution and delivery.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in managing risks and scope changes to maintain project alignment with client needs and timelines.
• Skilled in managing project budgets, schedules, and resources.
