About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised HR & Recruitment Executive to manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle for our beauty retail business. This role will oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, HR operations, and support workforce planning to ensure the company attracts, retains, and develops high-performing employees.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Manage the full recruitment process from job posting to onboarding.
• Source candidates through job portals, social media, agencies, and referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Prepare employment offers and employment contracts.
• Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external partners.
• Maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

• Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees.
• Prepare employee records and onboarding documentation.
• Conduct orientation sessions and company introductions.
• Manage employee exits and offboarding processes.
• Ensure company assets are returned upon resignation.

HR Operations & Administration

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Manage leave administration and attendance records.
• Support payroll preparation and employee data updates.
• Monitor employee probation periods and contract renewals.
• Assist with performance review processes.
• Handle employee queries and provide HR support.

Compliance & Employment Matters

• Ensure compliance with Singapore employment regulations.
• Support work pass applications and renewals where required.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date.
• Support workplace health, safety, and employee wellbeing initiatives.

Reporting & Workforce Planning

• Prepare HR reports and hiring metrics.
• Track recruitment progress and employee turnover.
• Support manpower planning and staffing requirements.
• Recommend improvements to HR processes and employee experience.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of HR and recruitment experience.
• Experience in retail, beauty, wellness, or consumer businesses is preferred.
• Knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems.
• Experience supporting work pass applications.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience hiring frontline retail and beauty personnel.

Reporting Line

Reports to the COO / CEO.

This role will work closely with management, store operations, beauty advisors, and external recruitment partners to build and support a high-performing workforce.

Our client is a local company in the electronics manufacturing industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a HRBP to join their HR team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central – easily accessible.

Key Responsibilities of HRBP:

Strategic HR Business Partnering

• Partner closely with the founders to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business growth and organizational objectives.
• Design and implement scalable HR frameworks, including organizational structures, job grading, compensation, and performance management.
• Support global business expansion by overseeing HR operations, payroll, compliance, and employment practices across Singapore, the Americas, and other international markets.

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for highly specialized technical and commercial roles, including Physical AI, robotics, power electronics, and business development.
• Leverage AI-powered recruitment tools to enhance candidate sourcing, screening, talent mapping, and engagement.
• Strengthen the company's employer brand by promoting its vision and value proposition to attract top global talent.

Talent Management & Employee Experience

• Foster a high-performance culture centered on ownership, collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Develop competitive compensation, benefits, and equity (ESOP) programmes to attract and retain key talent.
• Drive performance management, employee development, and continuous feedback initiatives to support long-term career growth.

HR Operations & Digital Transformation

• Manage and optimize HR systems, including HRIS, ATS, and performance management platforms, while driving HR process automation through AI-enabled technologies.
• Utilize people analytics to monitor workforce trends, improve hiring effectiveness, support retention strategies, and provide data-driven HR insights.

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of HRBP experience
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
