We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Western Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality Western cuisine while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Western dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner and to the highest standards.
• Assist the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and stock levels within the assigned section.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, workplace safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Train, guide, and supervise junior kitchen staff where required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, equipment, and storage facilities.
• Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and special promotions when required.
• Minimise food wastage and support cost-control initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent position in a Western kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of Western cuisine, cooking techniques, and food presentation.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess a Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent certification.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

- Process room reservations received via telephone, email, hotel website, online travel agencies (OTAs), and other distribution channels to secure bookings accurately

- Enter and update reservation details in the Property Management System (PMS) to maintain accurate and current booking information

- Issue reservation confirmations and record all guest requests, communicating them promptly to relevant departments

- Handle reservation amendments, cancellations, and no-shows following the Hotel’s policies to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction

- File and organize reservation correspondence according to Hotel's standards to maintain orderly records

- Maintain confidentiality of all room rates and sales strategies to protect departmental information

- Manage corporate accounts in the absence of the Sales Manager to ensure continuity of service and account handling

- Stay informed about the Hotel’s products and services related to reservations to provide accurate information and support

- Perform additional duties as assigned by Management to support hotel operations

Requirements

- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in hotel reservations, front office, or customer service

- Familiar with Opera Cloud PMS System application

- Possesses good telephone etiquette and telemarketing sales techniques

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent guest service and smooth team performance.
• Manage financial, administrative, and payroll tasks in compliance with company policies.
• Enforce hygiene, safety, and operational standards throughout the restaurant.
• Train, mentor, and support staff development, including onboarding of new employees.
• Analyze sales metrics, manage systems (POS), and implement improvements to drive growth.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the F&B industry
• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management / Professional Certificate / Nitec
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period would be preferred
• Possess Food safety and hygiene certificate
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays

SCOPE

Reporting to the Banquet Manager, the Banquet Supervisor is responsible for supervising the successful organization, preparation, and execution of all types of banquet events. The incumbent will provide full support to ensure that the Banquet Service Department operates as a successful and independent profit centre, executing all functions efficiently to maximize guest satisfaction through effective planning, organization, and control of administrative and operational tasks.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES

• Assist in leading the banquet team efficiently in costs and expenses, constantly delivering the highest quality as well as driving high top line revenue and profit.
• Oversee and ensure the successful organizing and execution of all types of banquet events.
• Conduct shift briefings to delegate, update and disseminate relevant information to colleagues and part-timers.
• Supervise the team members on shift. Ensuring that they are well groomed and properly attired to ensure strict adherence to Hotel's standards of quality service
• Ensure function rooms, operating equipment, service and storage areas are well-maintained and in good and proper working conditions.
• Interact with guests and address guest feedback promptly and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction.
• Build close working relationship and effective communications with culinary team and other departments
• Directly oversee the actual set-up and services of contracted functions by giving specific information to servers, by coordinating the timings of event and to ensure success of each function
• Strictly adhere to all rules & regulations within the hotel including hotel’s policy on fire and safety as well as hygiene regulations including HACCP.

REQUIREMENTS

• Warm, pleasant, friendly and confident, with good interpersonal skills.
• Possess good command of English
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Positive attitude and team player with ability to work independently, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions.
• Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors.
• Experience with MS Office with strong administrative, analytical, trouble-shooting and decision-making skills.
