The Business Intelligence & Operations Solution (BIOS) team supports Malaysian Operations across two functions: the Business Intelligence arm delivers dashboards and analytics to surface insights that guide operational decisions, while the Operations Solution arm builds automation solutions and streamlines processes to drive efficiency.

Get to Know the Role

You will report to the Team Lead of the Business Intelligence & Operations Solution team. This team builds the automation solutions that Malaysian Operations relies on to run efficiently. The solutions involve streamlining workflows and ensuring data flows seamlessly into the tools you build.

This role is based onsite at our Petaling Jaya office.

You will own end-to-end solution delivery: from scoping problems with stakeholders to seeing your solutions adopted in the field. You'll deepen your expertise across solution architecture, data engineering, and the application of AI tools to real operational challenges.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Analyze existing operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Utilize Python to automate repetitive tasks and processes, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
• Use SQL to extract data from databases as required for processing and operational needs, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Document all operational processes, including design, development, and implementation phases.
• Create comprehensive user guides and technical documentation to support the deployment and maintenance of solutions.
• Work closely with stakeholders within MY Operations to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing solutions.

Operational Core Responsibilities

1. Oversee and ensure effective execution of rooftop solar maintenance activities (planned and unplanned) in line with contractual scope of work, service level agreements (SLA), and compliance to SOPs.

2. Coordinate annual and monthly maintenance planning, aligning manpower, site access, and third-party support schedules.

3. Provide on-site technical leadership in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting. Guide resolution based on root cause rather than symptoms.

4. Coordinate with Customer Service and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely communication of maintenance outcomes for effective client reporting and service continuity.

5. Review and verify site reports, inspection checklists, photos, and test records submitted by Technicians and Engineers. Ensure proper documentation for internal reference and client reporting.

6. Prepare high-level technical reports for various needs including client requests, compliance, analysis, claims, etc.

7. Oversee inventory planning and availability of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for ongoing operations; ensure stock readiness to minimize service disruptions and support operational continuity.

8. Ensure proper tracking, escalation, and closure of service tickets within defined SLA timelines, including continuous review of open items and coordination with relevant parties to resolve delays.

9. Plan, lead, and supervise execution of special technical projects (e.g., solar PV dismantling and reinstallation, equipment upgrades, relocations) in coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring scope clarity, schedule adherence, and risk control.

10. Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) standards in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and regulatory best practices.

Department Support Roles

1. Mentor and coach Engineer and Technician to improve technical competencies, task ownership, and work quality. Lead by example in field behaviour and problem-solving approach.

2. Assist in onboarding new field staff, delivering training on safety, standard tasks, and use of checklists or mobile apps. Support cross-division technical sharing if required.

3. Identify recurring issues or workflow inefficiencies. Recommend updates to checklists, SOPs, or job plans based on field feedback and lessons learned.

4. Provide technical input and documentation support for equipment failure investigations, including photo records, test results, and historical data.

5. Participate in high-priority maintenance or rectification works across other divisions/regions upon assignment by HOD.

6. Maintain professional relationships with clients, address operational concerns, and follow up on technical issues with support from the Customer Service and Commercial teams.

7. Act as the regional technical focal point for assigned accounts, building trust through consistent performance and communication.

8. Support technical risk reviews and provide site inputs during pre-project assessments or inter-departmental coordination meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Possess 3 years of experience in project management, construction, or operations & maintenance of rooftop solar PV system.
• Possess valid CIDB Green Card and Working at Height certification.
• Advance understanding of rooftop solar PV systems, including design, components, troubleshooting, and compliance with performance and safety standards.
• Good understanding in Job Method Statement, HIRARC preparation for high risk working environment.
• Ability to prepare preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, oversee field service teams, and ensure timely, quality execution aligned with SLAs.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and document maintenance results through accurate technical reports.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for mentoring, client engagement, and inter-departmental collaboration.
• Proven capability to lead and guide technicians and assistant engineers in daily operations, training, and field discipline.
• Demonstrates high accountability, professionalism, and readiness to take initiative under limited supervision.
• Ability to evaluate issues on-site and make appropriate technical and operational decisions with sound judgment and proper escalation when required.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and adherence to regulatory and internal safety standards.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable & Operations Specialist to manage the sales and finance operations of our organisation. This role is critical in ensuring smooth end-to-end processes from sales to procurement and subscription contract management while maintaining excellent customer relationships and managing accounts receivable (AR). The ideal candidate should have experience with subscription-based billing and reporting, particularly in Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) models.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Receivable (AR) and Customer Management (60%)

• Prepare and issue accurate sales invoices to customers.
• Respond to customer finance-related inquiries, including requests for Statements of Account (SOA) and payment clarifications.
• Monitor and manage AR, ensuring timely follow-ups on outstanding payments.
• Resolve customer disputes and escalate issues when necessary to ensure efficient cash flow.
• Maintain customer finance records and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

2. Sales and Finance Operations (20%)

• Oversee the complete sales-to-procurement lifecycle, including processing Sales Orders (SO), Purchase Orders (PO), and procurement tasks.
• Manage subscription contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and compliance tracking.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely updates in sales operations and reporting.
• Ensure smooth and efficient processes in procurement and vendor coordination.

3. Subscription and Recurring Billing Management (10%)

• Handle monthly MRR billing management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoices.
• Manage and monitor subscription and usage-based billing processes, ensuring data integrity.
• Prepare detailed reports for MRR, ARR, and subscription usage metrics for management review.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in subscription billing and usage data.

4. Process Improvement and Reporting (10%)

• Identify opportunities to optimise sales and finance workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records, reports, and dashboards related to sales, procurement, MRR, ARR, and AR management.
• Support management in financial audits and compliance reviews as required.

5. Collaboration

• Liaise with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and finance, to ensure alignment and seamless operations.

6. Travel

• Possibility of traveling to Singapore HQ (if the incumbent is based in Malaysia) twice a year for meetings or training.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in finance operations, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with MRR and ARR billing processes and management.
• Strong knowledge of sales and finance operations, including SO, PO, procurement, and subscription billing processes.
• Experience in subscription and usage-based billing reporting preparation is essential.

• To provide carpark occupancy monitoring and data analysis report and contribute to budgeting and income performance analysis.
• Collaborate and coordinate with security personnel on all aspects of carpark operations.
• Demonstrate and maintain a professional and productive relationship with state authorities.
