We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and hands-on Accounts professional to manage our company's full set of accounts. Because our business involves high-volume biomass trading and manufacturing, the ideal candidate must have solid experience in trade financing facilities—specifically Banker’s Acceptance (BA), Invoice Financing (IF), and Letters of Credit (LC). You will be responsible for keeping our financial records spotless while optimizing our trade facilities and cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Set Accounts: Independently handle the complete cycle of full set accounts (AP, AR, GL) and prepare timely monthly closing, financial statements, and management reports using the SQL Accounting System.
• Trade Financing & Cash Flow: Manage and process trade finance instruments including Banker’s Acceptance (BA), Invoice Financing (IF), and Letters of Credit (LC) with banks to support trading operations.
• Compliance & Tax: Ensure full compliance with Malaysian tax laws, handle audit and tax queries, and manage the deployment/maintenance of LHDN e-Invoicing workflows within our SQL system.
• Reconciliation & Monitoring: Conduct strict regular bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations; track factory inventory valuations and intercompany transactions between HQ and factory sites.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of working experience handling full set accounts. Direct experience in managing trade finance facilities (BA, LC, Invoice Financing) is strictly required.
• System Skills: High proficiency in SQL Accounting Software is a must.
• Industry Background: Experience working in trading, manufacturing, logistics, or biomass/commodities sectors will be highly prioritized.
• Qualifications: Professional Certificate, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, possess strong commercial awareness of banking facilities, and able to work independently to meet tight closing deadlines.

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic Finance Executive/ Senior Executive - Philippines & Malaysia to join our team. Your new role would be reporting to the Business Finance Manager and the Key Business Partner of Philippines and Malaysia Business.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Philippines

• Partner closely with commercial and operations teams, driving engagement to ensure effective communication and alignment
• Perform detail review of operational expenditures, highlighting unusual movements or trends and propose recommendations
• Lead preparation of rolling forecast, budgeting and other regional reporting requirements
• Support development or improvement of financial modelling, analysis and reporting
• Coordinate month-end closing process by establishing clear timelines and functional requirements
• Validate and review source data to ensure integrity, completeness and accuracy of both Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting
• Undertake and support various ad-hoc projects as directed

Malaysia

• Handle key cost drivers for people costs and vehicle opex, including rolling forecast and budget
• Maintain various operating expenses analysis, whilst leaving room for potential reworks
• Preparation of monthly variance analysis of financial performance by division, with attention to detail on top line and middle line movements.
• Coordinate month-end closing process by establishing clear timelines and functional requirements
• Undertake and support various ad-hoc projects as directed

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Degree/ Diploma in Finance/ Accountancy or its equivalent.
• At least 1-3 years of relevant working experience in Financial Analysis and Business Partnering.
• Willing to travel internationally up to 10%.

Highly Desirable:

• Advanced users of spreadsheet and presentation tools, particularly Google sheets, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Good analytical skills and able to present analysis rationally while “speaking the audience’s language”.
• Independent, self-starter, self-motivated, result oriented as well as customer oriented.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Basic business and commercial acumen.
