Job Summary

You will manage full set accounting, financial reporting, HR functions, and compliance tasks to support MRSS’s financial integrity and operational efficiency, collaborating across teams to drive accurate reporting and effective administration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full set accounts by creating accounting schedules, journal entries, and supporting documentation for month-end closing
• Manage fixed assets accounts and update the financial module to maintain accurate asset records
• Perform monthly reconciliations including bank reconciliations and monitor accounts to ensure timely receipt of payments and refunds
• Conduct month-end and year-end closings and prepare GST reports in compliance with statutory requirements
• Support annual statutory audits, tax filings, and local statutory reporting by preparing audit schedules and documentation

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Comply with MAS regulations, OFAC/UN/EU sanctions, and internal controls; follow Maker/Checker workflows and maintain audit trails

SWIFT & System Operations

• Prepare, verify, and authorize SWIFT messages; input transactions into core banking systems

Customer & Stakeholder Support

• Advise corporate clients and correspondent banks on trade terms and procedures

Reporting

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
• Preferably 5+ years of hands-on core Trade Finance Operations experience in a bank or financial institution
• Understand international trade rules, SWIFT MT/MX messaging, and compliance screening tools
• High attention to detail, strong risk awareness, and ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
