Key Tasks :

• Design & Development: Create and modify crane and lifting equipment designs using CAD software, 3D software and adhering to engineering standards including global and regional requirements.
• Technical Support: Provide engineering support to regional sales, service, and project teams, resolving technical challenges during planning, installation, fabrication and operation.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality requirements and Konecranes standard practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with global and regional engineering teams, manufacturing, project and suppliers to ensure design safety, manufacturability and cost-effective solutions.
• Documentation: Prepare calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and reports for designs, ensuring accurate documentation for internal and customer use.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify design improvements, product optimizations, and efficiency enhancements, contributing to innovation initiatives.
• Project Support: Assist in engineering feasibility studies, quotations, and project planning for regional projects.

Role Description:

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects related to industrial equipment installations, focusing on overhead cranes and hoists. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and collaboration with customers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and according to Konecranes’ quality standards.

Key Tasks :

• Plan, monitor, and manage crane and hoist installation, modernization, and service projects from initiation to completion.
• Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, ensuring adherence to contract terms.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to secure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Provide technical support in crane and hoist installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and Konecranes quality requirements.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers during project execution.
• Conduct site visits, risk assessments, and progress meetings to maintain clear communication and trust with stakeholders.
• Attend to site meeting
• Provide professional guidance and technical recommendations to optimize customer lifting solutions.
• Ensure all projects are executed in strict compliance with local safety regulations, ISO standards, and Konecranes’ EHS policies.
• Promote a strong safety culture and monitor site safety performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
• Support the development of standardized procedures and best practices within the Project Engineering team
• Inform sales and business controller to trigger relevant billing according to contractual billing plan at predetermined stages throughout the project.
• Assist technical administration executive in gathering & reviewing relevant documents for submission to DOSH for design approval and load test.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by Project Manager.

• Fixed shifts: Morning 6:45am–3:15pm / Noon 2:45pm–11:15pm (+$10 daily shift allowance) / Night 10:45pm–7:15am (+$15 daily shift allowance)
