Key responsibilities in your new role

• Drive MEMS Package Technology Development at Infineon, from concept to high-volume ramp-up.
• Act as the lead engineer and primary point of contact for direct communication with Infineon’s key customers regarding MEMS package technology.

Description

Weeseng HVAC Technology Pte Ltd is seeking a Junior Mechanical Technician to join our growing team. The Junior Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, testing, repairing, producing, and overhauling mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of chillers and related systems. You will collaborate with fellow technicians to support our overall chiller manufacturing process.

Requirements:

• ITE/ Poly Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.

• 1 -2 years of working experience in HVAC or Industrial Chiller fields.

• Proficient in Solidworks.

• Class 3 driving license preferred.

• Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.00am –5.00pm) & Saturday (8.00am -3.00pm).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture industrial chillers in collaboration with other technicians, including sheet metal work, welding, assembly of refrigeration systems, electrical wiring, and temperature controller setup.

• Evaluate final products for overall performance, reliability, and safety.

• Diagnose, test, manufacture, repair, and overhaul mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of chillers and related systems according to production BOM/WO.

• Deliver chillers and components to end customers and perform on-site setup.

• Generate 2D engineering and electrical drawings using Solidworks software.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

You will report to the R&D Manager and lead the design and preparation of manufacturing drawings for electrical switchboards, driving precision and efficiency in production. Collaborate closely with manufacturing and production teams and vendors to ensure material readiness and optimal product performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare detailed manufacturing drawings of electrical switchboards to meet production specifications
• Assemble modular drawings based on panel design requirements to support manufacturing workflows
• Perform weight, heat loss calculations, and air flow simulations to optimize switchboard design and functionality
• Prepare accurate material order lists for mechanical parts to ensure timely procurement and production continuity
• Liaise effectively with vendors to clarify material enquiries and secure necessary components
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Production teams to align design outputs with operational needs
• Conduct thorough self-checks to ensure accuracy and quality of all technical drawings and calculations
• Adapt quickly to new software applications to enhance design capabilities and productivity
• Perform additional duties as directed by the supervisor to support R&D and production objectives

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficient in BIM, VertexG4, and AutoCAD M&E 3D drawing software
• Strong mechanical background with demonstrated skills in 2D and 3D drafting
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints and specifications, including identification of materials and sheet metals used in switchboards
• Proficient in 3D software and flat pattern development with strong PC skills
• High attention to detail with proven capability to self-check for accuracy

Job Description

• Design and development of Mass spectrometer, Capillary Electrophoresis, Liquid chromatography Instruments and other Biomolecular devices.

• Instrument build, test and troubleshooting.

• Compile test data, work with cross functional team on workflow and resolve the problem.

• Ad hoc lab supports on material handling and Engineering build trials.

Requirements

• Should have experience in design and development of Mass spectrometer and Capillary electrophorosis.

• Should have experience in working with vacuum systems, pumps and Ion optics, Optical and Pneumatic subsystems.

• Should have experience in working with actuators and motion control electromechanical subsystems.

• Should have experience in working with Product development management tools like Enovia or 3DExperience to handle BOM, Change request and Change orders and Proficient in 3D CAD tools like CATIA V5 and Solidworks/AutoCAD, Tol stack up, thermal and load analysis .

• Should have experience in building Physical instrument, troubleshooting and report preparation.
