Role Purpose

Responsible for mechanical engineering planning, design coordination, and construction management for land infrastructure, industrial developments, and critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

• Support Project Manager/Lead on mechanical system planning and design concepts, including DC mechanical systems (cooling, redundancy, resilience).
• Lead/support MEP investigations, feasibility studies, and consultant design reviews to ensure compliance, constructability, and cost optimization.

Construction & Delivery

• Oversee mechanical works through construction, testing, and commissioning to meet specifications, codes, quality, budget, and timeline.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve MEP technical issues, and support authority submissions and final handover.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Support tendering activities including contractor pre‑qualification and technical evaluations.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Support technical due diligence for industrial assets and critical facilities, and continuous improvement of standards/SOPs.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years’ experience in M&E design and construction for industrial/building projects.
• Proven exposure to data center or mission‑critical facilities, particularly in mechanical systems design, construction, and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, fire protection, plumbing, wastewater, and lift systems.
• Familiar with Vietnam codes and regulations; Southeast Asia experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and planning tools; good command of English.
• Able to manage multiple projects and travel as required.

Weeseng HVAC Technology Pte Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ACMV Engineer cum Project Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading project teams and managing ACMV projects from planning through to successful completion.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 4 -5 years of relevant hands-on experience in ACMV (Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation) systems.

• Strong technical knowledge of chiller and AHU design.

• Proven leadership capabilities with good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Self-driven, responsible, and able to work independently.

• Familiarity with ACMV systems, BCA Green Mark certification processes, and relevant regulations.

• Proficient in 3D &Electrical/Solidworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support, including drawings, calculations, and system design/customization for ACMV works.

• Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, coordination, execution, control, and project completion.

• Lead and supervise cross functional project teams and contractors to ensure timely progress according to project schedules.

• Oversee site activities, installation works, and ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

• Monitor project costs, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

• Coordinate manpower planning to meet project demands.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises an engineering group with specific responsibility for mechanical systems and equipment design function, staffing, technical mentoring as required within the engineering group, staff professional and personal development, and budget adherence.  Also, technically lead and/or execute engineering projects

• Ensures customer satisfaction via on time delivery of product releases in accordance with predetermined requirements and prompt resolution of complex issues of difficult scope for range of products

• Ensures the integration of engineering resources with cross-functional teams to meet objectives and product goals of difficult scope

• Interfaces with internal and external customers regarding complex mechanical issues for range of products

• Ensures that all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeless completion

• Generate and define product specifications and coordinate/execute the engineering development of difficult scope

• Effectively assigns work to subordinate staff, providing for professional development in addition to maximum productivity for the area

• Ensures that all phases of project, program, and/or process development are documented and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate.  Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding safety, Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, and confidentiality and safety

Minimum Qualifications: 

• PhD/ Master/ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• More than 7 years of relevant experiences in semiconductor equipment design or troubleshooting experiences with at least 3 years of leadership experiences

• Subject-matter expertise with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis and/or Design for Excellence principles 

• Proficient in simulation and analysis methods (FEA, thermal analysis and tolerance analysis)

• Strong in the following fields: Thermal, Compressible flow, Engineering Design, Machining & manufacturing processes

• Ability to craft clear engineering documentation

• Ability to form effective cross-functional relationships and to communicate product design/mechanical requirements clearly to non-experts
