Project Overview

This project aims to develop a real-time blood analysis and diagnostic platform using an integrated microfluidic chip. • Monitor company networks and systems for suspicious activities, security risks, and unauthorized access.

Mandatory Requirements

Educational Background

• Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Mandatory Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or IT infrastructure support.
• Experience with basic cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, antivirus systems, VPNs, endpoint protection, and access management.
• Familiarity with Windows-based IT environments, networking, and system administration.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity risks, incident response, and security best practices.

About the Team:

As part of the Search, Recommendation, Ads (Engineering & Architecture) team, We build and operate the search engine that powers retrieval and ranking across the company. The system is built on Vespa (a ~1.7M-line C++/Java codebase) and runs at scale across hundreds of nodes. Our work spans the full stack: cluster orchestration, HNSW-based vector indexing, rank expression evaluation, capacity planning, and the developer tooling that keeps all of it shippable. We care a lot about correctness, latency tails, and operational simplicity.

Job Description:

• Design, implement, and operate components of the search engine — indexing, query execution, ranking, or storage using C++

• Improve indexing and retrieval performance: SIMD-friendly data layouts, cache-aware algorithms, lock contention

• Extend vector search capabilities (HNSW and beyond) and integrate them cleanly with traditional inverted-index retrieval

• Build tooling and automation that makes the team faster — capacity models, fault-injection tests, deployment checks, AI-assisted workflows

• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and on-call rotation

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field

• At least 5 years of full time backend development experience using C++/Go/Python

• Experience working on Vespa Search Engine is preferred

• Familiarity with vector search and ANN algorithms (HNSW, IVF, PQ).

• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and systems. You can reason about cache behavior, memory layout, and concurrency..

• Experience operating non-trivial services in production: profiling, debugging core dumps, reading flamegraphs, tracing distributed requests.

• Comfortable working in a large existing codebase.

As a Generative AI (GenAI) Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Google Cloud, you are an embedded builder who bridges the gap between frontier AI products and production-grade reality within partners for our customers. Unlike traditional advisory roles, you will function as an innovator-builder, moving beyond high-level architecture to code, debug, and jointly ship bespoke and scalable agentic solutions directly with our partners, for and within the customer’s environment. You will address blockers to production including solving the integration complexities, data readiness issues, and state-management issues that prevent AI from reaching enterprise-grade maturity. By embedding with strategic partners, you will serve a dual purpose: providing white glove deployment of complex AI systems and acting as a critical connector and feedback loop for the partner to Google, transforming real-world field and partner insights into Google Cloud’s future product roadmap. You will serve as the agent engineer bridging the gap between AI prototypes and production-grade reality for our strategic AI partners and their own FDE teams.

• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to ensure partner developed agentic systems meet rigorous requirements for accuracy, safety, and latency.

Minimum qualifications

• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from conception to launch for customers.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience implementing multi-agent systems using frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, ADK) and complex patterns (e.g., ReAct, self-reflection, hierarchical delegation).
• Knowledge of Large Language Model native metrics (e.g., tokens/sec, cost-per-request) and techniques for optimizing state management and granular tracing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the architecture design, RTL encoding (Verilog/SystemVerilog), and functional verification of digital control logic in 3D-NAND memory;
• Design a state machine (FSM) to manage complex NAND operation processes (such as Program, Read, Erase, Copy-back, Suspend/Resume, etc.);
• Develop a command decoder and address/parameter parsing logic to ensure compliance with JEDEC and internal specifications;
• Implement high-precision timing control logic to accurately generate the internal timing signals required for various operations (such as tR, tPROG, tBERS, etc.);
• Deeply involved in the physical layer and link layer logic implementation of ONFI (Open NAND Flash Interface) or Toggle Mode interface protocols, supporting DDR, NV-DDR, NV-LPDDR, and other modes;
• Collaborate with the analog/mixed-signal team to define array access timing, voltage switching windows, and read/write path control interfaces;
• Collaborate with firmware (FW) and system architecture teams to develop register maps, interrupt mechanisms, error handling strategies, and debug interfaces;
• Support UVM verification environment setup, provide Design for Testability (DFT) support, and participate in FPGA prototyping;
• Participate in chip bring-up, post-silicon debugging, and performance optimization to ensure products meet specification requirements.

Required Qualifications:

2. Major: Microelectronics and Integrated Circuits, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields;
3. Other Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years digital IC design experience, experience in NAND Flash or SSD controller projects is a plus;
• In-depth understanding of ONFI 4.x or Toggle 2.0/3.0 protocol specifications, with practical interface IP development or integration experience;
• Experience in control logic design under 3D-NAND or TLC/QLC architectures is a plus;
• Familiar with ECC control interfaces (such as LDPC/BCH engine scheduling and interaction);
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, able to communicate efficiently with simulation, firmware, verification, testing, and product teams to jointly develop technical solutions.
• Experience with successfully tape-out and mass-produced memory chip projects is a plus.
