Job Description: Engineer for E-Exam Support

We are seeking a dedicated Onsite E-Exam Support Engineer to provide end-to-end technical assistance during electronic examinations. The role involves supporting exam operations, troubleshooting user issues, maintaining network and device readiness, and ensuring a smooth and reliable exam experience.

Timings : 2 pm to 10 Pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite technical support for E-Exam operations, ensuring all systems and equipment function optimally.
• Communicate effectively with candidates, invigilators, and stakeholders using strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Work independently and handle tasks confidently with minimal supervision.
• Participate in a 24/7 support roster and respond to on-call duties when required.
• Troubleshoot and configure desktop, laptop, and mobile devices across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Assist with wireless and network configuration for end-user devices.
• Perform network cable tracing, identification, and basic troubleshooting.
• Install and mount network switches and handle moderately heavy IT equipment when needed.
• Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
• Provide remote troubleshooting support and perform end-user tracing for issue resolution.
• Good knowledge of wireless networks and network infrastructure to support exam-related connectivity requirements.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Service Desk Analyst to serve as the first point of contact for IT support, providing technical assistance to users via phone, email, self-service portal, or onsite. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and access-related issues, managing incidents through ITSM tools, and ensuring timely resolution in line with SLA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 IT support and resolve user issues related to hardware, software, and network.

• Log, track, prioritize, and manage incidents and service requests using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).

• Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams when required.

• Manage user account lifecycle (joiner, mover, leaver) and access provisioning (Active Directory, email, systems).

• Perform OS imaging, software installation, device setup, and endpoint support (Windows and Mac).

• Support incident management, including major incidents and SLA tracking.

• Maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and SOPs.

• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.

Requirements:

• Experience in Service Desk, IT Support, or Desktop Support role.

• Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.

• Knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, Active Directory, and access management.

• Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer).

• ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience developing software using C#, React, TypeScript, Python, or VB.NET.

• Experience in SQL and various database design and development.

• Hands-on experience with programming tools such as Visual Studio, VS Code, Git, etc.

• Experience in Data Comm, Device Control, SEMI SECS/GEM, EDA, PLC, or TCP/IP-based automation is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills to work with engineering teams to determine software requirements; strong teamwork spirit.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
