Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a teams of 2 to 6 Engineers for Dry Gas Seal Support System Post Order Engineering. Required Skills and experience
• Accountable for overall Engineering KPI ‘s and focus on OTD and Quality metrices
• Subject Matter expert in GSS Design activities. Able to lead all regions design activities while complying to global standards & KPIs. Lead training of Junior Design Engineers.
• Working directly with all internal stakeholders and align with them on Engineering Service Level to meet their expectation.
• I‐ Project – job management tool for Gas seal system engineering as a global tool, Support for migration from I Project to any alternative Engineering project / job management software as directed by Engineering Solutions management.
• Job Planning in DOSE & MS project, Distribution of the work among the team member and drive quality output well within the promise date
• Provide promise date to stakeholders based accurate estimation of man hours, resource planning and priority of the project.
• Accountable for on time submission of. Engineering deliverables, technical clarifications, Comments and Deviations, value added engineering solutions, technical clarification during customer approval cycle, working with Operation / Contract Manager / Project Manager and manufacturing site leaders.
• Distil best practices for achieving growth and help replicate best practices on a worldwide basis

Key Activities:

• Review of technical/project specifications from customer.
• Review / processing of Application Requests with proposal generation
• Technical support to operations.
• Selection of, predominantly, wet seals / systems and couplings and other JC products as needed – closely working with regional customers, peers and global product managers.
• Generation of engineering proposals / specifications for standard or special products, including determining cost-effective materials for production
• Engineering includes review of Seal GA drawings, fitment checks and carryout design calculations.
• Detailed failure analysis activities, including full investigation / RCA / reporting / resolution with customer with necessary commercial awareness
• Produce complete and informative Drawing Office requests and provide applications guidance to CAD Engineers to complete layout (GA) and detail drawings
• Deliver basic technical training internally and externally to customers as required

• Ensure project is executed to company’s quality standards and customers’ expectations.
• Monitor & control project schedules and prepare project activity reports & required project documentation.
