Key Responsibilities

• Manage & perform tracking with equipment/maintenance team to ensure machine stability, safety enhancement is met, project management or related task assigned by superior/HOD.

• Responsible in SMT paste printing and glue process to develop, optimize processes for new product introduction/ development and sustaining product engineering activities based on proper studies (e.g. Design of Experiment, risk assessment, equipment & process capability).
• Generate and maintain the standardized work documents.
• Ensure that the respective area workstation and system are well maintained in operation condition.
• Define equipment preventive maintenance plan in close collaboration with maintenance team. Provide training on machine maintenance, operation and processes when necessary.
• To assist in major machine breakdown troubleshooting.
• To participate in new product development discussion and contributes ideas and comments for PCB assembly and process technology.
• To participate, setup and review traceability for respective area and improve timely.
• To be the Data Owner of the processes under care and set-up of a proper Data Management for Data Visualization and Analytics.
• Responsible for process & yield improvement, cost reduction and cycle time reduction. Apply statistical method, systematically problem-solving tools (e.g. fault tree analysis, 3x5xwhy, DOE, 6- Sigma, Kepner Tregoe) or management tool (e.g. System CIP) to get desired results.
• To work closely with CoC (Centre of Competence) team to comply, standardize and improve processes via PFMEA and VVts/DMDs.
• Conduct equipment capability studies and evaluate processes. If needed, prepare ROI analysis and arrange supporting purchases.

Job Description

• Manufacturing readiness & ramp: Lead process readiness for LC/MS mechanical assemblies and processes during pilot builds and mass production (fixtures/tooling, work instructions, test methods).

• Execute NPI transfer activities: DFM/DFA input, build readiness reviews, pilot build issue closure, and ramp with quality.

• Quality & yield improvement: Own data-driven improvements to cycle time, FPY, DEFOA, and AFR; analyze pareto, trend SPC, and drive 8D root-cause closure with CFT. Implement containment, corrective and preventive actions; verify effectiveness via run-at-rate and post-release reviews.

• Design and drive stable operating processes, ensuring stability with detailed studies and analysis of process driven parameters.

• Mechanical engineering excellence: Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and apply GD&T rigor to ensure robust assembly and test performance. Create/maintain mechanical drawings (parts/assemblies), BOMs, and specifications; manage ECR/ECO and documentation under QMS.

• Continuous improvement (CI): Lead operational excellence, kaizen events and drive lean flow optimization. Reduce waste in build & test; standardize best practices.
