ABOUT THE ROLE
The Pre-Sales Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by providing technical consultation, product demonstrations, solution design, customer engagement, and technical presentations across company’ portfolio of surveying and reality capture solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys solving customer challenges, and is comfortable engaging with stakeholders across construction, surveying, engineering, infrastructure, and geospatial industries.
The successful candidate must possess strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into practical business value for customers.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
· Support the sales team throughout the entire sales cycle from opportunity qualification to solution proposal and technical closure.
· Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical presentations for customers and partners.
· Recommend suitable solutions based on customer operational requirements and workflows.
· Prepare technical proposals, solution configurations, presentations and tender documentation.
· Provide technical consultation and respond to customer technical inquiries.
· Conduct product training and user familiarisation sessions for customers and internal teams.
· Support exhibitions, roadshows, seminars, and industry events.
· Assist in developing demo datasets, use cases, and technical marketing materials.
· Work closely with sales, service and regional product teams.
· Provide market feedback and customer insights to product management teams.
· Support after-sales handover and technical onboarding when necessary.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
· Candidates must be self-starters and highly motivated. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a selling team.
· Strong technical experience from markets such as Surveying, Architectural, Civil Engineering and Construction work environment.
· Candidate should be familiar with BIM solutions and digital construction workflows for Architectural, Engineering & Construction sectors and able to communicate value of digitalisation to various stakeholders within construction project (owner, architect, consultant, contractor, subcontractor etc.)
· Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
· Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders with varying levels of seniority and technical understanding
· Good presentation and training skills.
