• As an experienced Process Engineer, you lead cross functional team to drive continuous improvement of the processing capability and availability of PreTreatment (PTU) and Heat Treatment (HTU) units

• Responsible for the Basis of Design (BOD) and Unit Specific Tolerances (UST)  and defining the Operating Limits for PTU and HTU

• Responsible to build up the competency of PTU and HTU processing technologies in the organization

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Review of contract, technical drawing and equipment specifications to meet design obligations.
• On time execution of design and engineering production drawing plan for awarded projects.
• To liaise with designer, classification, vendors and client to meet new building, ship repair and conversion specification compliances.
• Ability to read design drawings and carry out Interpretation based on classification rules and Maritime regulation.
• Address to technical comment in writing, prepare solution proposal and prepare drawing remarks to correspond with related parties. 
• Prepare production drawing based on class reviewed drawings or client issued drawings.
• Drawing responsibility to cover preparing of general arrangement, outfitting drawing, lifesaving arrangement, structure strength calculation, structure block construction plan, weight calculation, weight control, structure lifting arrangement etc.
• Assist commercial newbuilding and ship repair in tender exercise for newbuilding and conversion projects. Generating basic design concept to align with tender.
• To work independently with a team.  

Requirements:

1. Polytechnic/ Degree in Marine or Naval Arch. or equivalent.
2. At least 3 - 5 years of engineering experience in structure field for marine or offshore related industries.
3. Microsoft Words, Excel, Power point and AutoCad.
4. Required to travel other countries for technical meeting.
5. Understand and ability to interpret marine structure dwg to meet technical specifications and carry out discussion with client.
6. Analytical Ability.

Description

• Assist QP(S) in the daily supervision and coordination duties including Mehcanical & Electrical works, site investigations, building services works, etc
• Lead, monitor and supervise RTOs on Site
• Responsible for the consistency of quality assurance inspections and testing for works
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues with Contractor
• Keep quality records of all works, monitor & report on work progress
• Review and comment on contractor’s submissions
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering or equivalent.
• Registered as RE with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore
• Minimum 7 years of experience in M&E works
• Possess strong initiative, and ability to work independently and within team environment when required
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
