Purpose and Scope

Manages the overall preparation of mechanical engineering designs, drawings, specifications, schedules, quantity and cost estimates for assigned projects.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Main Mechanical Subject Matter Expert for the checking and design of mechanical works from concept to detailed design for projects
• Conversant in local code and authority requirements, ensuring project compliance to the requirements.
• Able to perform analysis and guide engineers to analyze and provide technical advice and solutions when working with stakeholders
• Carry out project management, planning, financial management of project, contract administration, ensure key deadlines are met and team work together effectively
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders for civil & structure, architectural, mechanical and electrical works
• Preparation of tender documents and specifications
• Design management, coordination with contractors, subcontractors and external consultants
• Proactive communication, mentoring and guiding the reporting Engineers and Designers for learning and development
• Ensure the smooth completion of the project within schedule and budget
• Possibly assigned as Assistant Project Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in both construction management and design
• Hands-on designing ACMV/HVAC ventilation systems, Plumbing & Sanitary, Fire Protection systems, etc..
• Conversant in Engineering analysis design software, BIM software, CFD simulations tools and other mechanical/fire engineering software.
• On track to qualify as a Registered Professional Engineer with PEB Singapore/ Specialized Professional Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Carry out detailed structural design, including preparation and development of building structure calculations and drawings

• Execution of projects and liaison with the Client, Client’s Consultants, Contractors, and authorities to provide technical support for design

• Carry out project execution plans and review site planning, mobilization and feasibility study

• Act as a design checker to review and obtain approval of design submissions and drawings

• Prepare design report & attend meeting to resolve technical issues

• Assist in construction sequencing, method statements, and planning of temporary works.

• Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and progress monitoring; report findings to management.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers and site staff for effective project execution.

• Support cost control by reviewing material usage, workmanship, and variation claims.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent

• Well versed with local authority codes and regulations

• Minimum 10 years of relevant building structure with civil experience within the Construction industry

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair works at construction/project sites to ensure safe, timely, and quality execution in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements in Site & Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise daily mechanical installation, testing, and commissioning works
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, and piping teams for smooth site progress

Workforce Management

• Lead and supervise technicians, fitters, and workers
• Assign tasks and monitor productivity to meet deadlines
• Provide on-site guidance and ensure discipline and attendance

Quality Assurance

• Inspect mechanical works to ensure compliance with project standards
• Identify defects and ensure timely corrective actions
• Support inspection, testing, and commissioning activities

Safety Compliance (MOM Requirements)

• Enforce workplace safety rules and company safety policies
• Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure proper PPE usage
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near-misses

Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers for site execution
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and manpower updates

Mandatory Requirement 

• Mechanical Engineering or related technical qualification
• 3–4years’ relevant site supervision experience
• Knowledge of mechanical installation and commissioning works
• Familiar with Singapore MOM safety requirements
• Ability to supervise foreign workers and coordinate site activities

Work Location - Island
Working Hours : Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
Saturday 8am to 12am

2.     Supervise and monitor projects to ensure adherence to operatingprocedures, quality standards, contractual specifications and safetycompliances.

3.     Prepare and submit shop drawings, material/MOS, assist in monthlyprogress claims, and progress reports.

4.     Handle engineering/technical issues, prepare progress reports, andmaintain up-to-date records.

5.     Oversee daily site activities, progress and schedules, ensuringcompliance with master and detailed work programmes.

6.     Coordination with internal departments, subcontractors,consultants, and users to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth projectexecution.

Requirements:

1.     Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Job Description:
1.Lead and manage process engineering activities for LNG/FSRU or oil & gas projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.

2.Oversee and participate in process design work including P&ID reviews, HAZOP and safety studies, ensuring proper documentation and closure of action items.

3.Perform and review process simulations, calculations, and material selection, ensuring technical accuracy and optimization of process design.

4.Coordinate with clients, vendors, and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.

5.Ensure compliance with project HSE, environmental, and QA requirements throughout all phases of engineering and project execution.

Requirements:
• B.S. or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university with minimum 15 years relevantexperience in the oil/gas industry LNG projects.

 •Must have minimum 5 years in similar lead role in major on shore LNG or FSRUterminal & oil/gas projects.

• Must have experience in material selection/specialization.

• Full involvement and contribution in design,engineering, P&IDs reviews, HAZOP, and other safety reviews & workshops is essential. Be capable of ensuring actions are recorded appropriately and the action closure is carried out and documented.

• Demonstrate strong capability to independently perform process simulations and engineering calculations, interface effectively with vendors as required, and prepare optimization studies and reports. Ensure the technical accuracy, integrity, and quality of all process design deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

• Communicate and support with external stakeholders including industry bodies, vendors, client interfaces.

• Ensure project Health and Safety,Environmental and QA procedures are followed during the execution of the project.

Job Description:

• Review and track structural submission drawings prepared by consultants.
• Coordinate and review structural shop drawings before submission.
• Prepare and submit documentation via the ACC platform, including RFI, MOS, material submissions, and shop drawings, and follow up on approval status.
• Coordinate with the site team, RE/RTO, and consultants to ensure the latest approved drawings are used on site.
• Facilitate communication between the design team and site team to resolve structural technical issues.
• Monitor structural-related submissions and ensure timely responses from relevant parties.
• Support structural coordination matters and other project-related tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in structural coordination within construction projects
