We are looking for a highly motivated Primary Systems Engineer (HV/MV) to join our growing engineering team and play a key role in designing and delivering reliable, efficient, and sustainable power solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge High Voltage (HV) and Medium Voltage (MV) projects, collaborate with industry experts, and make a meaningful impact on the future of energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop High Voltage (HV) and Medium Voltage (MV) electrical systems for substations, power distribution networks, and industrial facilities.
Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, single-line diagrams, layouts, and detailed design drawings.
Perform equipment sizing and selection, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, protection systems, and associated electrical equipment.
Review and evaluate vendor submissions, technical proposals, and engineering documents.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and site activities when required.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design through commissioning.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in HV/MV substation design, power distribution systems, or electrical infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of electrical power systems, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and substation equipment.
Familiarity with relevant international standards and electrical codes.
Proficiency in engineering software and design tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
