This position is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant, advanced water treatment facility, and disposal facilities (loading / unloading) to ensure the efficient, safe, and economical treatment of wastewater, disposal of sludge and discharge of treated water.

• Manage day to day operations of wastewater treatment plant and other environmental control

facilities.

• Supervise a team of technicians in daily activities, collection of waste, unloading of solvents and

wastes, operation of wastewater treatment plant.

• Provide technical support on Environmental (ENV) incidents, account for ENV issues arises through

the operations.

• Data integrity (DI) lead for IFM team and conduct DI Gemba weekly.

• Responsible for representing the Utilities and WWTP areas for both internal and external audit

inspections.

• Management of selected projects and processes run in the IPT including planning for annual

plant shutdowns.

• Responsible for investigating incident reports, responding to relevant HazOp studies and

completion and follow-up of specific risk assessments.

• Able to analyze and troubleshoot, able to draw accurate conclusions from analysis to support

decision making and makes timely decisions for the operations.

• Develop environmental policy, guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOP).

Job Summary:

•Manages the day-to-day operations of various assigned facilities to ensure the cost effective, safe and efficient operation of the customer's facilities

•Provides operational leadership to account team to ensure operational excellence is continually achieved

•Have thorough understanding of the contract and ensure that the contractual obligations are delivered and meet Customer Satisfaction expectation

•Communicates contract deliverable, objectives, and expectations to the staff.

•Staff development and training to improve productivity & competencies

•Role out the branding policy and follow as per specification

•Maintain, update, and renew records and reports necessary to comply with Company, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes.

•Prepare monthly/quarterly/year-end reporting to ensure promptness and accuracy.

•To play a key support role in the delivery of client projects, including client liaison, contact with internal resource departments and external suppliers, and administrative work.

•To manage the administration and smooth running of client jobs, including taking responsibility for reporting, management of client communication and program participants including contact reports, maintaining up-to-date electronic and paper files when required

•To effectively manage suppliers to ensure the highest quality is delivered and the best price negotiated.

•Ensure all HR, Finance, Procurement and EHS processes followed for compliant

•Ensures that all programs and procedures of the operating staff are being implemented.

•Manages and supervises facilities personnel including hiring, promotions, and recognition, discipline and personnel terminations. Responsible for completion of required documentation and forms.

•Identifies, investigates and reports on the need or opportunity to undertake buildings or system modifications.

•Maintain high employee morale.

•Maintains open communications with the customer and good customer relationship to improve customer satisfaction.

•Control Engineering department inventories

•Upkeep client maintenance software records and all other records when required

•Ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance program are timely completed

Working Location : Tuas South
Working Hours : 8am to 5pm

● Responsible for completing all assigned Utilities operations activities, ensuring accurate documentation completion for CGMP systems including boilers, regeneration processes, wastewater treatment blowers, pumps, compressed air system, HVAC, air & Nitrogen systems.

● Support Facility Operations, take equipment readings & update logbooks and oversee a team of 24/7 technicians for operations.

● Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment to determine the root cause and perform root cause analysis.

● To negotiate with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or subcontractors on the repair, replacement and maintenance of the equipment.

● Carry out repair of equipment such as replacing faulty parts (eg. Bearing, mechanical seal and etc), shaft alignment, clear blockages, rectify leaks and cleaning equipment parts and etc.

● Re-assemble, re-install, test run and monitor equipment after repair before putting the equipment online.

● Ensure permit requirements are met for all Utilities operations activity conduct routine condition monitoring of machine (eg. Vibration, noise, corrosion, temperature, pressure data recording and trending), as required.

● Ability to ensure all related contractors are properly on-boarded through the vendor management system.

● Ability to communicate and Escalate incidents in case of emergency situations.

● Coordinate with contractors for the facility repair / trouble shoot jobs,

● Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance of facility equipment such as boilers, regeneration processes, blowers, compressors, pumps.

● Perform mechanical maintenance (and provide feedback) as scheduled by the MP (Maintenance Planner) Scheduler to ensure a high quality and continuous improving maintenance.

● Maintain cordial work relationship with client, colleagues and contractors.

● Uphold high standards of integrity and transparency and ensuring GMP related compliances are not comprised.

● Ensure all standard operating procedures are met and completed.
