Job Scope

• Process orders received from sales or customers for APAC customers
• Liaise with respective parties
• Consolidations of orders to the best possible extent
• Follow up on orders and shipping documents for on time receiving and invoicing and sales recognition
• Liaise with warehouse for the most cost-effective order preparation, to meet customer requested date
• Sourcing of the most cost-effective transporter and forwarder to fulfill customers’ orders timely
• Coordinate incoming import Isotanker port clearance and delivery to customer to avoid port demurrage
• Evaluate and monitor the transporter / forwarder performance
• Timely and accurate GRN for real time stock status
• Provide shipping documents to customers, prepare insurance for each shipments

Requirements

• At least a Degree in Supply Chain or related fields
• Experience in chemical Dangerous Goods (DG) / is a must
• Experience in Logistics in Chemical manufacturing, import/ export, LC, direct liaise with freight forwarders
• Knowledge in ERP System (either SAP or Oracle)
• Able to start on short notice highly preferred

This role is a 2 years renewable contract, location is in the East

Technical & Design Interface Management

•            Act as the primary on-site conduit between internal Engineering Team overseas and local stakeholders, translating complex technical design requirements into actionable site implementation plans.

•            Collaborate to ensure structural modifications, cable containment, and spatial provisions seamlessly accommodate new and refurbished subsystems.

•            Facilitate interface matrix alignment across all major project scopes, including new vehicles, Power Supply Distribution (PSD), Platform Screen Doors (PDS), Signalling, Communications and Guideway Track Infrastructure.

Stakeholder Coordination & Alignment

•            Serve as the technical interface point-of-contact for appointed consultants, driving the timely review and approval of Interface Control Documents (ICDs).

•            Serve as PIC for work permits

•            Coordinate directly with third-party main contractors and designated subcontractors to eliminate spatial clashes, scheduling conflicts, and execution overlap at the site office.

•            Organize and chair regular on-site Interface Coordination Meetings to resolve cross-package technical conflicts, tracking open items through an updated Interface Register.

Site Installation & Asset Modernisation Support

•            Carefully plan interface schedules for refurbishments (such as PSD modifications and signaling upgrades) to ensure zero impact on the live, daily operations of the existing system.

•            Oversee the structural and electrical readiness of the site prior to the delivery, installation, and integration of new vehicles and expanded infrastructure.

•            Assist the T&C teams in defining interface testing boundaries, ensuring all interconnected systems operate cohesively during local integration testing.

Documentation, Quality & Risk Management

•            Maintain, track, and regularly update the project’s Master Interface Register, proactively escalating critical design or installation bottlenecks to the Site Project Manager.

•            Review, filter, and track site RFIs from subcontractors and contractors, ensuring technical queries requiring input are routed and resolved expeditiously.

•            Identify potential scope creep or design changes arising from site interface issues, documenting them to support project management team in variations and risk mitigation.

• Review existing policies, cost/benefit analysis on Compensation & Benefits (C&B) structure and processes.

• Design, develop and implement C&B programmes through strong engagement of key stakeholders.

• Collaborate with HR business partners, HR shared services (Business Solution Centre, BSC based in KL) and JSG C&B to ensure consistent implementation

• Coordinate with BSC on monthly final payroll checking while BSC is responsible for monthly payroll with external payroll vendor Prosoft

• Responsible for HR Policies (Employee Handbook) review, update and communication to employees, bi-annually where applicable.

• Lead the annual Company insurance renewal with broker

• Evaluate, manage third party vendors responsible for providing data or services for benefits programmes, ensuring contract obligations are met e.g. MHC vendor

• HRIS Key user for system management of Leave & Payroll Portal (Prosoft) and SAP for Personnel Data Management.

• Coordinate claims / payments with BSC for processing such as CPF submission, NS claim submission, Statutory leave claim submission (maternity, child care leaves etc), resignee final settlement, OT payment and AWS.

• Management of claims with insurer / broker such as medical, insurance and WICA claims

• Engage with Union on CA renewal (every 3 years)

• Responsible for performance appraisal process, and data cleansing with BSC before rollout.

• Data management with BSC for any position changes, promotion (including Color Belting for Technicians), transfers etc.

• Management of incentive schemes for payment with BSC e.g. Technical Retention Program, Port Incentive, Sales Incentive Scheme

• Perform annual salary benchmarking with Mercer

• Responsible for salary proposal of new joiners

• Responsible for salary budget exercise for C&B topics

• Handle tax clearance/settlement for local and expat employees with tax consultant

• Lead internal and external audits on C&B-statutory survey and MOM Labor market survey.
