Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and design and manage a team for mechanical & electrical engineering works for building services.
• Prepare reports, specifications, calculations, drawings and other documents prepared for the different stages of a project.
• Well verse in Design for ACMV, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary for Mech PE.
• or Well verse in Design for Electrical, Lightings, Lightning protection, ELV for Electrical PE.
• Able to lead a team in design and project management or tender.
• Projects : Commerical mostly. Industrial and residential not so much.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Registered with PEB for mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Candidates with Professional Engineer certifications from contractor or stats board are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Develop analytical 2D and 3D models using Plaxis 2D/3D software
• Perform detailed geotechnical design and calculations for earth-retaining structures and slope stability
• Prepare geotechnical design reports, calculations, and technical drawings
• Review soil investigation data and produce interpretative reports
• Provide recommendations on ground monitoring instrumentation and assess monitoring data
• Participate in design discussions and attend site meetings as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
• Proficiency in Plaxis 2D/3D software
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
• Familiarity with Eurocode design standards
• Knowledge of local geotechnical regulations and building codes
• Preferably at least 3 years of geotechnical design experience in a consultancy environment

• Develop engineering designs in accordance with project requirements, covering all phases from conceptual through schematic to detailed design.
• Conduct structural design analyses and perform necessary calculations.
• Participate in tendering processes and oversee the work of contractors and subcontractors.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all project documentation, including incoming and outgoing documents, drawing registers, RFIs, and shop drawings, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
• Act as Project Lead and support the Project Director by reviewing and resolving issues related to design, specifications, calculations, and other submittals; ensure all designs and models meet project requirements; respond to site-related queries and concerns.
• Review and approve contractors’ shop drawings and material submissions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on design and project-related matters.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and strong attention to accuracy.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills; collaborative team player.
• Quick learner with the ability to multitask and work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
