Job Description:

IMH is looking for intermediate operations research data analysts/scientists who are passionate about healthcare analytics to expand the hospital’s analytic capabilities.

Successful candidates will be imbedded in an experienced analytics team that will be overall responsible for managing projects and their deliverables. This will afford the candidate an opportunity to gain experience related to the role of OR in change management, process improvement, and policy planning. They will work with an existing team of seven data engineers and biostatisticians to improve the utility of information derived from existing databases. In addition to building simulations and maintaining models, the position will require the candidate to help the hospital expand its existing human capital by sharing their knowledge and operations research experience with the data- engineering team in which they will be imbedded. • Provide advisory support on statistical, analytical, and modelling methodologies.
• Track labour market developments and recommend innovative approaches to data analysis and visualisation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure research outputs are accurate, relevant, and impactful.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with a strong interest in data analysis, numbers, and pattern recognition.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in research, analysis, or data‑related roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data clearly to different audiences.
• Self‑motivated, responsible, and highly detail‑oriented.
• Exposure to statistical or analytical tools such as SAS, R, Python, or STATA.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau or Power BI).
• Knowledge or experience in econometric or quantitative modelling is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct research analysis, market intelligence and trend tracking for the residential and commercial sectors.
• Monitor macroeconomic and industry trends by compiling, preparing and managing high-quality market data for report analysis.
• Strong aptitude in research and data analytics with relevant experience working with statistical tools to interpret and analyze data.
• Write research reports and produce infographics for clients’ business needs.
• Prepare materials for presentations and support research training.
• Works across team units to support data and research needs.
• Assist in providing input for marketing and consultancy proposals.
• Keen to explore ways of disrupting data analysis with tech, machine learning / AI and/ or programming to keep abreast of emerging technologies and the fast-moving digital landscape.

Job Requirements:

• Min. Degree in Real Estate, Economics, Statistics, Business or related field, candidates with at least 2 years' experience in commercial markets preferred  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, and analyse data sets with accuracy.
• Proficient in writing and statistics.
• Candidates familiar with Real Estate research will be of advantage.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented.
•  Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Good command of written and oral English.
• Experience with machine learning/data modelling for data analysis, programming languages like Python, R, VBA and/or knowledge of Power BI, scripting, of JAVA is an added advantage.
•  Adaptable and independent in a dynamic environment, passionate about making a difference and having a growth mindset.
