RESPONSIBILITIES

The position requires engineer to carry out tasks related to the support of broadcast and broadcast IT related equipment and systems, including activities such as manning of support hotline, system diagnosis, remediation and monitoring, system administration, patching and preventive maintenance. In addition, the position is required also to support the planning and implementation of broadcast IT system projects.

• Provide technical support to broadcast equipment and systems in News Studios & News Post Production and asset management system, Outside Broadcast production van, News Room Computer System and etc.
• Document, communicate, collaborate, and handle fault incidents
• Assess system vulnerabilities and provide guidance, remediate and mitigate any reliability and security risks
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of broadcast equipment and system.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance broadcast and IT equipment.
• Work with different business units to provide technical solutions to enhance existing operation and setup
• Evaluate and recommend new broadcast IT equipment and system.
• Support project implementation of broadcast IT system and infrastructures including the support in drafting of technical specifications and costings documentations.
• Perform shift and standby duty to support broadcast system and infrastructures.

• Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security or equivalent. CCNA, Certification in Information Technology networking field is an advantage.
• Candidate without the required academic qualifications but with at least 3 years of relevant experience in IT, Broadcast or Media Production related field are welcome to apply.
• Microsoft certifications such as MCSA preferred
• Project management experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of cloud / enterprise system architecture
• Network troubleshooting skills of IT devices maintenance and experience with management and configuration of networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls) will be preferred.
• Perform shift and standby duty to support broadcast system and infrastructures.

Front line customer service role to provide Level-1 support to manage incoming interactions/transactions (calls, emails & Live Chats [if applicable]), and provide delightful customer experience, aligning to Service Level targets and company goals.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Attend and respond to incoming Calls, Emails and Call-Back requests, Live Chats (if applicable to the supported Project), within Service Levels and to deliver pleasant Customer Experiences
• Logged all calls reported into the case management system
• Follow-up on all outstanding cases till closure
• Maintains and accurately update customer’s enquiry, problem and resolution into the case management system

• Ability to multi-task e.g. on the call and keying into the ticketing system at the same time. We operate on a leveraging shared model where CSOs/Agents support more than 1 project.
• Keen to learn and understand policies, procedures, application/eService usage and/or transaction behaviour support in Contact Centre via phone, email, online and digital platform.
• Tech savviness candidates are preferred as we deal with usage guidance and simple troubleshooting.

You will help deliver best-in-class customer experience across Shopee's regional markets by driving AI-powered automation, operational efficiency, and data-led decision-making in close partnership with local Customer Service (CS) teams and upstream operational partners.

Responsibilities

AI & Automation

• Drive chatbot and AI automation initiatives to improve customer experience and operational efficiency

• Identify automation opportunities through contact data analysis and translate insights into product, process, or workflow improvements

Operational Excellence

• Support local Customer Service (CS) teams on agent performance management, workforce planning, and capability building

• Develop and track customer experience metrics, and generate actionable insights to support continuous improvement initiatives

Upstream Demand Management

• Identify and diagnose root causes of customer contacts across logistics, returns, and payments

• Work closely with upstream operational partners, including logistics providers, fulfilment, and payment teams, to address recurring issues and improve the customer experience

• Engage directly with stakeholders to drive issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field; A master’s degree is advantageous but not required 

• Minimum 1 years of full-time strategy working experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm 

• Familiarity with AI, chatbots, automation, or software development would be advantageous

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to identify issues, generate insights, and size opportunities

• Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic and collaborative environment

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and markets
