As a Field Service Engineer, you are responsible for technical leadership and delivery of control and electrical systems across all project phases, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and commissioning. Partners closely with project managers and business leads to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope.
For assigned projects, may lead and supervise a team of engineers/technicians, supporting design, implementation, testing, and on-site customer commissioning to ensure successful project execution.
Your Responsibilities:
• Technical and project engineering responsibility for projects
• Design, implement, test and commission control system and variable frequency drives projects by performing engineering application and programing specifications
• Provides updates to project manager and Engineering Team Leader pertaining to status of activities, KPI’s
• Develops technical standards and procedures within project context
• Depending on project complexity, may be required to lead a team comprising of engineering staff of various levels of experience and responsibility including contract staff & 3rd party vendors.
• Supports an environment conducive to successful team interaction
• Might serve as the primary interface with customer for assigned projects
• Any other relevant duties as assigned by immediate Manager
The Essentials - You Will Have:
• Bachelor Engineering Degree in any of the following functions like Electrical / Electronics /Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Communication.
• Good knowledge and understanding of core subjects with knowledge of Digital Electronics, Basics of Electricals and Programming Languages
• Excellent in interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and information seeking nature
• Collaborate with teams & Adaptive to changes in technologies.
• Attention to details & Critical thinking abilities
• Active Listening & Collaboration
• Adopt and demonstrate cultural values of organization
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Automation and Control, Electrical, and low voltage drives projects which include designing, consulting, implementing and commissioning.
• RA Medium Voltage drives experience and knowledge is an added value
• Typically possesses broad application/technical knowledge relevant to assigned business team
• Must have a good understanding of industrial control systems (preferably Rockwell
Automation solutions), IT/OT infrastructure
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
• Experience working in complex/EPC and life science and datacentre environments are advantageous.
• Must be able to effectively work in a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience with RA Products, Software
• Experience with MS Office software products Excel, Word, Project, Visio, etc.
