Purpose of the Job

The Senior IT Specialist – Service Delivery & Infrastructure is responsible for the operational governance of IT services, IT Operations and business partnership. This role focuses on implementing efficient, reliable IT solutions that support shore-based operations. This role reports to the Head of IT.

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Budgeting

• Manage corporate IT spend within agreed budgets.
• Renew all IT contracts 4 months before expiry with a focus on cost savings
• Address financial variances exceeding 10% with the stakeholders.

Operational Excellence

• Formalize application onboarding processes for new IT systems and vendors.
• Improve IT service management.
• Optimize IT support operations (target: 10% reduction in incident tickets).
• Implement structured tech‑champion networks.
• Oversee patch management for servers, firewalls, and endpoints (non-security focused maintenance).

Innovation & Digital Transformation

• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve overall IT efficiency.
• Support development of key infra / security systems in our Azure environment.
• Develop architectural documentation.

IT Governance & Asset Management

• Establish operational governance frameworks and policies aligned with internal standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through audit support (non‑security‑specific).
• Manage IT risk assessment, business continuity planning, and penetration testing where applicable to infrastructure reliability.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle management processes.
• Oversee end user training on general IT best practices (excluding security awareness).

Ad Hoc tasks assigned

• Any other ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Head of IT

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5–8 years of proven experience in IT support, preferably within the maritime or shipping industry.
• Strong financial management and budget control abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnership skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Azure Cloud, M365-E5) and related IT solutions.
• Proven experience in Cloud platforms (Azure, M365-E5), Middleware / integration platforms.
• Experience with system migrations, architectural documentation, and IT governance.
• Good understanding of Technical IT, including cyber, cloud computing, infrastructure, application support.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage and follow up on day-to-day customer enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate response. 
• Coordinate and execute scheduled sampling activities in accordance with SGS SOPs and client requirements. 
• Ensure all activities comply with ISO/IEC 17025, SAMM policies, SGS QA/QC system, and GCSC requirements. 
• Support business growth through effective customer engagement and service delivery. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES – CUSTOMER CARE  

• Responsible for sample handling from sample collection to sample registration  
• Maintain and develop Key Accounts, including building long-term customer relationships. 
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery. 
• Identify opportunities to promote SGS services and expand business scope. 
• Monitor KPI compliance for response time and service quality. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES – SAMPLING & FIELD OPERATIONS 

• Conduct food, water, swab, and air sampling in accordance with SGS SOPs. 
• Perform hygiene audits based on specified checklists. 
• Ensure proper sample identification, labeling, and documentation. 
• Submit samples to laboratory within required timelines. 
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy in field execution and reporting. 
• Handle customers professionally during onsite activities. 

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable NDC Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a deep understanding of IATA NDC standards, particularly related to airline inventory. This role requires expertise in various versions of IATA NDC, including 17.2, 18.1, 18.2, and 21.3.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support and consultation on IATA NDC implementation across different airline inventory versions.

- Assist clients and internal teams in troubleshooting issues related to IATA NDC.

- Stay updated on the latest developments in IATA NDC and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders.

- Conduct training sessions for clients and team members on NDC capabilities and best practices.

- Develop and maintain documentation related to NDC processes and guidelines.

Requirements:

- Proven hands-on experience with IATA NDC airline inventory, specifically:

- IATA NDC 17.2

- IATA NDC 18.1

- IATA NDC 18.2

- IATA NDC 21.3

- Diploma in IATA or a related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Minimum 10 years of work experience in the travel industry, including experience working with Amadeus, Galileo and Sabre

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a customer support or technical support role within the airline industry.

- Familiarity with other travel technology standards and platforms.

The Role

As a member of the Customer Success organization, the Senior Customer Training Specialist is responsible for coordination and administration of training classes for APAC region. The Senior Customer Training Specialist manages all training class logistics and activities to ensure the students have an excellent experience with AspenTech training.

Your Impact

• Schedule training classes
• Maintain current and accurate data and statuses for all Training Class and Student Registration records
• Capture accurate and complete information in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
• Collaborate with other AspenTech departments (e.g. Sales, Customer Service) to quickly handle customer training inquiries
• Provide a high level of customer service to external and internal customers
• Prepare and distribute class status reports to the management team
• Prepare proposals to sell training classes
• Manage all class logistics.  Ensure training manuals, software licenses and any other needs are delivered prior to class start
• Manage off-site facility rental in other cities.  Coordinate lunch catering to classes when needed.
• Work with other departments to ensure customers are properly set up invoicing/billing within the CRM system
• Invoice students accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in other business improvement projects and assignments as required
• Interact with customers directly through chat or phone.
• Greet customers in our Singapore training facility and set up rooms, keep drinks and snacks stocked.

What You'll Need

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a customer facing role in a fast-paced high-tech environment
• Liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders in North Asia is a core part of this role; therefore, proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
• Additional language proficiency in Japanese or Korean is ideal.
• University Degree is preferred.  Business or marketing background will be helpful
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-discipline and motivation to produce results with minimal supervision

 Job Scope

• Mentor and cross-train staff using a standardized training program

• Implement quality management systems to meet SOPs, safety, and quality requirements

• Participate in cost, quality, and efficiency improvement initiatives led by Team Lead

• Coordinate and ensure timely calibration of laboratory equipment

• Perform perfume compounding and material selection per formulation

• Update compounding data in the Electronic Lab Notebook

• Manage end-to-end material handling and inventory

• Support shipping of compounded materials with complete documentation

• Operate and maintain the Contexa robot

 Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Applied Chemistry/Perfumery and Cosmetic Sciences or similar.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a chemistry laboratory environment (preferred).

• Knowledge of "good laboratory practices" quality guidelines and regulations (cGMP).

• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on demeanor with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Mechanical experience with laboratory robots and good computational skills.
