Financial Institutions Account Management, including Know Your Customer (KYC) processes

• Collaborate with clients’ representatives and support clients in attending to account opening and closure documentation, KYC queries and requests, and other account related matters in connection with clients’ accounts with various Financial Institutions (“FIs”) in various jurisdictions.

• Prepare and review account opening forms, responses, and communications with FIs with the objective of ensuring accuracy and completeness.

• Liaise with financial institutions to facilitate smooth account opening/closure/KYC processes. In the course of the work, collaborate effectively and seamlessly with corporate secretarial colleagues on corporate secretariat documents that may be required.

Knowledge Management

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AML/CRS/FATCA requirements of financial institutions and various jurisdictions, personal data protection laws.

• Maintain a knowledge base of FAQs related to financial institutions’ account/KYC matters.

• Maintain SOPs, including use of solutions platforms.

Document and Record-Keeping

• Maintain meticulous records of all account opening and KYC activities.

• Organize and archive client documentation securely.

• Generate reports and summaries for internal use, clients, and regulatory purposes as required.

Clients Communication

• Active communication and management of clients.

• Provide timely updates on the status of their account opening and KYC processes as needed.

• Address client inquiries and concerns professionally.

 Audit / Compliance & Regulatory

• Provide support to clients in connection with their audit procedures.
• Stay current with evolving regulatory requirements related to bank broker account opening and KYC.
• Implement and enforce internal policies and procedures, including client-specific policies and procedures, to ensure compliance.
