We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Assistant Service Engineer, to support our maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong technical foundation and is eager to learn and grow within a maintenance engineering environment. You will assist with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Support in Maintenance & Repairs: Assist senior engineers in routine maintenance tasks and repairs on equipment
• Troubleshooting Assistance: Aid in diagnosing and addressing minor issues promptly to reduce downtime
• Preventive Maintenance Execution: Help carry out scheduled preventive maintenance e tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition
• Documentation & Reporting: Record maintenance activities accurately, including repairs, replacements, and inspections, under the guidance of senior engineers
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations; actively maintain a safe working environment
• Inventory Support: Assist in managing spare parts inventory, notifying senior staff of low stock and needed reorders
• Collaboration with Team Members: Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to complete tasks and support the overall maintenance strategy

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering / Higher Nitec in Engineering

• Ability to diagnose and repair complex systems
• Able to adapt and work under tight schedules
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers
• Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions
• Possess Class 3 driving license
• Singaporeans only

Job Responsibilities:

This position reports directly to Corporate Business Operations and is tasked with providing dependable, secure, and responsive IT helpdesk services. The IT Service Engineer is responsible for supporting end users, overseeing incident management and service requests, and ensuring the maintenance of IT assets in accordance with corporate policies and audit standards to facilitate efficient daily operations.

• ​Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 IT support for end-user devices, systems, and enterprise applications.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and access issues in compliance with SLA requirements.
• Log, monitor, and manage incidents and service requests efficiently.
• Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance productivity and optimize IT support workflows, promoting timely issue resolution and ongoing service enhancement.
• Conduct IT asset provisioning, tagging, registration, and disposal in accordance with organizational policies.
• Facilitate user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment management.
• Provide support for meeting rooms, collaboration platforms, and end-user productivity solutions.
• Escalate complex technical and security matters to appropriate teams when necessary.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, knowledge base documentation, and other support materials.
• Project and Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Supervise assigned IT projects and undertake additional IT-related duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• One to three years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or Service Desk positions.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, endpoint devices, and fundamental networking concepts.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proven capability in practising cybersecurity policies, including proficiency in key cybersecurity principles, vulnerability scanning, and system hardening methods.
• Exposure to ITIL methodologies, ISO 27001 standards, or audit-related environments is considered advantageous.
• Experience with or familiarity in AI development, participation in AI-related projects, or knowledge of AI technologies is highly regarded.
