• To handle daily sample receiving, registration, sorting & after sales service with client
• Assist walk in client and incoming call regarding on lab test enquiry including to provide quotation to client
• Communicate with client on the sample submission & any related issue.

• Direct liase with SGS affiliate for subcon job at oversea.
• Handle any assigned task by superior.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage and follow up on day-to-day customer enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate response. 
• Coordinate and execute scheduled sampling activities in accordance with SGS SOPs and client requirements. 
• Ensure all activities comply with ISO/IEC 17025, SAMM policies, SGS QA/QC system, and GCSC requirements. 
• Support business growth through effective customer engagement and service delivery. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES – CUSTOMER CARE  

• Responsible for sample handling from sample collection to sample registration  
• Maintain and develop Key Accounts, including building long-term customer relationships. 
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery. 
• Identify opportunities to promote SGS services and expand business scope. 
• Monitor KPI compliance for response time and service quality. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES – SAMPLING & FIELD OPERATIONS 

• Conduct food, water, swab, and air sampling in accordance with SGS SOPs. 
• Perform hygiene audits based on specified checklists. 
• Ensure proper sample identification, labeling, and documentation. 
• Submit samples to laboratory within required timelines. 
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy in field execution and reporting. 
• Handle customers professionally during onsite activities. 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver and maintain outstanding client services, exceeding service level expectations
• Attend to client enquiries and provide quotations promptly
• Promote and sell services, including new SGS products and offerings

Specific Responsibilities:

• Process purchase orders, delivery orders, and manage equipment scheduling for delivery, collection, and calibration
• Maintain and update client database and follow up on outstanding payments
• Recall equipment from clients and manage timely troubleshooting and support
• Identify and act upon client feedback and reported issues, liaising with sales, operations, and KAM teams
• Expand business relationships and proactively retain key customers through regular engagement
• Identify new business opportunities and forward leads to the sales team for follow-up
• Build and foster collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Ensure availability to customers and provide extra-mile support when required
• Maintain awareness of market trends and the voice of the customer
• Promote a positive image of SGS and comply with the Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct at all times

• Process transactions and reply to inquiries about products and services.
• Record customer interactions, details of inquiries, complaint or comments as well as actions taken.
• Assist Section Head / Sales team follow up on business prospect.
• Timeliness and accuracy on handling business inquiries as per Quality System KPI.
• Build and foster collaboration with internal teams involved in service delivery.
• Build and proactively manage trust relationships with Key Accounts.
• Go beyond clients' core business to identify new opportunities.
• Be abreast of SGS new products and services and propose them to customers as appropriate.
• Assist on Debtors collection to meet DSO target.
• At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
• Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.

-  Organize the resource of team to perform daily operation relevant to inquiries, samples receipt/ dispatch, test reports, debt collection, etc.

- Coordinate with Sales to approach clients (targeting Chinese clients) for generating revenue/ profit- Support line supervisor for handling both internal and external complaints relating CS issues and support to reply to clients on time for complaints relating operation

- Propose and review training needs and implement training as plan of team

- Working with lab supervisors for ensuring all job complete ontime to client

- Review all test report before sending them to client- Undertake any other duties relevant to CS/report of Lab  when deemed as appropriate by Line Supervisor (or higher level)
