5. Prepare Tender Documents and Invite Sub-Contractors for Tenders: Involves drafting tender documents and managing the tendering process to select subcontractors.

6. Administering Contracts: This involves overseeing contract execution, ensuring compliance with terms, and resolving any disputes that may arise.

7. Perform Other QS-related Duties as Assigned

Job Description

• Oversee construction site activities.
• Support Construction Manager / Project Engineer on daily site work.
• Planning of manpower allocation.
• Ensure site safety and daily housekeeping.
• Ensure machinery and material needed are in place for site activities
• Ensure all the machinery is in working condition before work started.
• Assign job to workers and ensure work done on schedule.
• Pick up and send worker to work/dormitory

Roles & Responsibilities

1.Site Management

Oversee daily construction activities and ensure projects are progressing according to schedule.

Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews and subcontractors.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.

2.Team Leadership

Assign tasks and responsibilities to workers based on project needs and individual skills.

Provide guidance and training to team members to improve efficiency and performance.

Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth collaboration among team members and contractors.

3.Quality and Compliance

Ensure all work adheres to construction plans, specifications, and applicable codes.

Monitor the use of tools, materials, and equipment to minimize waste and ensure proper handling.

Address issues or defects immediately to maintain the quality of construction.

Job Descriptions

• Lead, oversee, manage, supervise and direct site staff and sub-contractors to execute the project in accordance with the design specifications/drawings, approve work methods, meet authorities’ requirements, and ensure on-time completion of the project
• Establish the quality management system, safety and risk management, time management, and cost planning for the construction activities
• Coordinate, take corrective actions, monitor the action taken, and update our client regularly
• Identify and address any site/project issues when it arises
• Liaise closely with subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities to ensure proper coordination
