Key Responsibilities
• Assist in daily accounting operations including data entry, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts for subsidiaries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow transactions.
• Assist in monthly closing of accounts, schedules, and reconciliations.
• Support project costing by tracking expenses related to vessels, jobs, and work orders.
• Maintain proper documentation for vendor invoices, purchase orders, and delivery orders.
• Assist in inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
• Prepare GST reporting and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Assist auditors during audits by preparing schedules and supporting documents.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and GST
• Experience with accounting software (MYOB, SAP, or similar systems is an advantage)
• Proficient in intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines
• Assertive, authoritative leader with a proven ability to drive team performance
• Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
• Good communication and coordination skills
