Key Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow projections for interior fit-out projects.

• Manage tendering, procurement, and subcontractor selection.

• Review design drawings and specifications to provide cost input and value engineering suggestions.

• Monitor project costs, variations, and claims, ensuring alignment with budget.

• Conduct site inspections to verify work quantities, progress, and compliance.

• Prepare interim and final valuation reports for clients and management.

• Manage contracts, agreements, and legal documentation related to fit-out projects.

• Liaise with project managers, designers, contractors, and clients on cost-related matters.

• Lead and mentor a team of junior QS and site surveyors.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and local regulations.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in quantity surveying for interior fit-out projects.

• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, contracts, and procurement processes.

• Experience with commercial, hospitality, or retail interior fit-out projects preferred.

• Good understanding of local building codes, construction methods, and safety standards.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
