Job Description & Requirements

• Ensure efficient Civil & Structural and Geotechnical & viaduct design is achieved in accordance with Design Criteria and relevant standards
• Liaise with internal and external parties on all civil & structural and geotechnical & viaduct design matters and advises the Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/ Senior Project Manager (SPM)/Project Manager (PM) regularly
• Co-ordinate the review of Contractor's civil & structural and Geotechnical & Viaduct submission and assists the SPM/PM in conveying a timely response to the contractor
• Identify and resolve potential design related issues during construction phase
• Carry out any other duties as required by the Authority's Project management team, including attending technical meetings and discussions, preparation of minutes of technical meetings and to provide technical meetings and to provide technical support as required in the evaluations of Contractor's claims
• Ensure that the design intent is translated to construction on site by means of correct drawings and specifications

THE ROLE: 

The focus of this role is to plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for AMD’s SerDes IP, resulting in no bugs in the final design.   

THE PERSON:  

You have a passion for modern, complex SerDes architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/timezones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Collaborate with architects, hardware engineers, and firmware engineers to understand the new features to be verified 
• Build test plan documentation, accounting for interactions with other features, the hardware, the firmware, and the software driver use cases 
• Estimate the time required to write the new feature tests and any required changes to the test environment 
• Build the directed and random verification tests 
• Debug test failures to determine the root cause; work with RTL and firmware engineers to resolve design defects and correct any test issues  
• Review functional and code coverage metrics – modify or add tests or constrain random tests to meet the coverage requirements 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  

• Proficient in IP level ASIC verification 
• Proficient in debugging firmware and RTL code using simulation tools  
• Proficient in using UVM testbenches and working in Linux and Windows environments 
• Experienced with Verilog, System Verilog, C, and C++   
• Digital design, Analog Design, SerDes, PCIe and Ethernet knowledge 
• Developing UVM based verification frameworks and testbenches, processes and flows 
• Experienced with Co-Sim and UPI verification.
• Automating workflows in a distributed compute environment.   
• Exposure to simulation profile, efficiency improvement, acceleration, HLS tools/process 
• Strong background in the C++ language, preferably on Linux with exposure to Windows platform 
• Good understanding and hands-on experience in the UVM concepts and SystemVerilog language 
• Good working knowledge of SystemC and TLM with some related experience.   
• Scripting language experience: Perl, Python, Makefile, shell preferred.   
• Exposure to leadership or mentorship is an asset 
• Desirable assets with prior exposure to video codec system or other multimedia solutions.   
• Experienced with ChatGPT, MS-Copilot and other AI tools.

Job Description

Design and develop high-performance analog ICs for high-speed data communication and automotive battery management systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative designs that meet technical requirements and support next-generation technologies.

Key responsibilities:

·       Planning and designing IC block or system architecture based on design requirements

·       Perform circuit design/analysis, simulation based on specs

·       Prepare and discuss circuit, results of design in design reviews

·       Conduct IC verificationon bench to check IC performance with respect to design

·       Work with layout engineer for device level design to realize best circuit response

·       Work with application engineers to support customer application issues

Requirements:

·       PhD/Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Preferred competencies

For HSIF:

·       Good knowledge in High-Speed Interfaces design and be willing to take on the challenge of creating cutting-edge new technology by anticipating market trends and product evolution.

·       Possess good knowledge in analyzing and designing High-Speed Interface PHY, ADC, PLL, Clock and data recovery (CDR), Equalization and signal integrity optimization, Amplifiers, reference voltages etc.

·       Experience in developing IC and proficient in design tools usage (Cadence/Synopsys, CustomCompiler/Fine Sim)

For BMS

·      Good analytical skills and technical skills in analog/digital function circuits such as Switch capacitor amplifier, AD Convertor, High voltage power supply design: DCDC, LDO, Chargepump, High precision reference BGR, Oscillator, Amplifier,Comparator, etc) .

·      Experience in developing IC and proficient in design tools usage (Cadence/Synopsys)

·      Familar with Lab measurement and characterization equipment

·      Silicon debugging skill to solve design issues

Responsibilities:

• Design products/medical devices

• Handle/troubleshoot the industrial & mechanical designs of the project

• Streamlining the process of design concepts to manufacturing, production & assembly

THE ROLE:
