About the job
The incumbent will operate in alean team structure and is expected to perform full hands-on operational finance work for managing day-to-day accounting activities.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the incumbent will support financial reporting and compliance while ensuring accuracy and strong internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts
- Prepare journal entries and postings
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
- Assist in month-end closing
- Assist with GST filing
- Assist in verifying staff claims for reimbursement
- Provide support for year-end group audit processes
- Assist in handling HR and payroll process
- Other Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
Qualifications:
- Min. Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of full set accounting experience
- Prior experience in the construction or EPC industry preferred
- IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Independent and a self-starter
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to start work on short notice
