At our Darwin Airport properties, conferences and events are more than a revenue stream - they're an experience we're proud to deliver. We're looking for someone who understands that great sales come from great relationships, and that a client who leaves impressed is a client who comes back.
You'll manage the end-to-end sales process across our three properties- Novotel, Mercure and ibis. You'll be responsible from the first enquiry through to a seamless handover to our events team. You'll bring new business in, nurture existing accounts, and make sure every client feels genuinely looked after along the way.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively seeking new business while developing and growing existing accounts
- Managing and converting conference and events enquiries across all channels
- Building lasting relationships with corporate clients, PCOs and event planners
- Preparing tailored proposals that reflect each client's needs and maximise revenue
- Conducting site inspections and famils that showcase our properties at their best
- Working closely with our Food & Beverage and Operations teams to ensure smooth event delivery
- Keeping our pipeline and CRM records accurate and up to date
- Contributing to sales strategy and monthly forecasting
