We're looking for a proactive Business Support Officer to support our office in North Sydney on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). This is an on-site role where you will contribute to positive office culture and efficient operations through providing effective management of office administration, facilities and people.
For the successful candidate, this role can evolve to become permanent full-time or permanent part-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the face of Egis to meet and greet visitors and clients, ensuring visibility at reception during business hours and managing incoming phone calls
- General office management including facility management and organising the repair and maintenance of office assets and equipment
- Ensure common areas and meeting rooms are neat and tidy, working closely with IT to ensure IT assets are functioning
- Coordinate internal and external deliveries and mail
- Provide onboarding to new employees including workplace health and safety induction and security passes
- Perform the role of Health & Safety Lead during emergency events, liaising with crisis management team in line with Crisis Management Plan
- Support Environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) activities, collect carbon data for office, and work with our team towards achieving Carbon targets.
- Support vehicle fleet administration duties
- Organise and implement internal social events in coordination with the Social Committee within budget
- Support the coordination of external corporate functions and events
- Management of office costs within approved budget
- Assist with expense claims and company credit card reconciliation as required
- Coordinate travel and accommodation, as required
