Role overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive UAT Tester to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the QA Team Leader and other stakeholders to plan, prepare, and execute high-quality testing activities that support reliable software delivery. You will contribute across requirements analysis, test design, execution, defect management, reporting, and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on business outcomes and customer impact.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the QA Team Leader to plan, prepare, and execute testing.
  • Work as part of a QA team.
  • Participate in requirements analysis.
  • Liaise with the third-party development team and product owners to identify where tests and test plans are required.
  • Design, develop, and execute test cases and scripts using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Implement test case management and defect management.
  • Create test cases in Gherkin format.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and review tests written by developers, providing feedback where needed.
  • Document and communicate test progress, coverage, challenges, and results to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and automate the execution of tests where appropriate.
  • Deliver testing to a high standard, with a strong focus on quality, timeliness, and customer outcomes.
