The Account Manager for GenTrade is responsible for selling and executing the channel sales plans through account management , channel development activities and selling capabilities. He/She will be responsible for managing and developing accounts, execution of business plans to deliver sustainable and profitable sales growth in the assigned area and category. Accounts in the Channel includes Local Live hogs and Eggs.
Accounts/ Customer Sales Management
- Delivery of accounts revenue and volume targets
- Execution of agreed channel and customer KPIs (availability, pricing, display and activations)
- Regular coverage of accounts in assigned areas to accomplish sales and collection calls
- Conducts business reviews and negotiations to drive channel revenue and availability
Channel Development and Business Building Activities
- Creates territory and account business plans based on market intelligence and competitive information
- Look for other channel and customer opportunities to create other revenue sources or increase profitability
- Leads or participates in channel projects that will improve customer and shopper experience
Administrative Work
- Budget Management
- Sales forecasting
- Maintenance of customer database and account records
- Lodging of Customer’s issues/feedback in Complaints Management system
- Other sales related administrative work as required
Food Safety & Quality Management:
- Complies with quality, Halal (if applicable), health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
- Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal (if applicable), food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
- Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the Team Leader.
