Hardware System Design Director (AI Accelerator Card Focus)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for defining AI accelerator card product specifications and overall hardware architecture design; leading accelerator card PCB development; coordinating structural design, heat dissipation planning, and product implementation.

2. Responsible for the hardware architecture design and R&D of AI accelerator cards and high-speed interconnect products; proficient in high-speed interface design such as PCIe,NVLink, CXL, and Ethernet; solving key technical issues such as signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI).

3. Responsible for hardware adaptation, compatibility debugging, and system integration testing of AI server and Super Node platforms, driving product verification, certification, and mass production.

4. Participate in server hardware platform selection, technology roadmap planning, and product iteration; formulate hardware design specifications and development processes.

5. Coordinate teams involved in hardware, architecture, thermal management, testing, and supply chain to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.

6. Tracking the development trends of GPU, AI computing, high-speed interconnect, and data center hardware technologies, and promoting the application of cutting-edge technologies in products.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Communication Engineering, Computer Hardware, or related fields.

2. 8+ years of hardware R&D experience, with experience in developing AI accelerator cards, GPU servers, high-performance computing (HPC), or high-speed interconnect products.

3. Familiar with high-speed PCB design, high-speed signal link design and debugging, and possess SI/PI analysis and optimization capabilities.

4. Familiar with AI server hardware architecture and understand GPU, CPU, switching chip, storage, and network system design.

5. Experience in AI accelerator cards, server platform adaptation, and system-level verification, with experience in mass production project implementation is preferred.

• Proven experience in advanced CMOS technologies (e.g., FinFET, GAA, or equivalent advanced nodes).
• Solid understanding of device reliability fundamentals and process–device interactions.
• Demonstrated understanding and hands-on experience with SPICE simulation and related scripting or programming languages.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Educational Qualification: Master's degree required; Doctoral degree preferred.

• Field of Study: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field.
  

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and hydraulic systems based on industry standards, good engineering practices and contractual requirements
• Perform design/sizing/selection/integration of steel structures, mechanical & hydraulic components
• Design and produce mechanical and hydraulic system drawings/BOM and all associate project document such as operation and maintenance manual
• Carry out function testing/troubleshooting/commissioning in factory as well as in container terminals
• Provide engineering support/advice to Sales, After-Sales and Production department and conduct user training when required

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
• Experience in design of machines, mechanism, components and hydraulic system, preferably in heavy industries such as cranes and construction equipment
• 3D CAD design experience and ability to conduct engineering calculation and analysis according to industry standard are essential
• Knowledge in steel fabrication and machining processes will be an advantage
• Experience in design set-ups, component selection, testing and troubleshooting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective academic support to the School in teaching and maintaining academic standards
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, tutorials, and asynchronous learning activities across diverse student groups, including international cohorts where required
• Design, administer, and mark coursework and examinations in line with academic requirements
• Review and ensure the quality and standardization of examination papers within the area of specialisation
• Periodically review and enhance programmes to ensure relevance, quality, and alignment with industry needs
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate teaching and learning materials to support programme outcomes
• Develop and implement online and blended learning strategies
• Support the Assistant Director (Academic) in identifying and developing new programmes for school growth
• Assist in the development and management of academic partnerships and collaborative courses
• Contribute to audits, inspections, and academic quality assurance processes

Requirements:

• Masters/Degree Holder

• 3-4 years of experience with Teaching experience preferred.
