Scope of Responsibility as Technical Engineer (Electrical)

Scope of Responsibility as Technical Engineer (Electrical)

• Understand and practice PWS core values.
• Report directly to the Manager of the Technical Service Department.
• Perform preventive and remedial maintenance for electrical systems and equipment in data centre.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems in the data centre.
• Respond promptly to any electrical equipment breakdowns, including during non-office hours, weekends, and public holidays.
• Assist Senior Technical Engineer, Assistant Technical Service Manager & Technical Service Manager in conducting services such as:
• Power audit
• Generator Set Maintenance
• Electrical LV system maintenance
• Thermal scanning
• Grounding measurement
• Standby support for activities such as:
• Genset testing
• TNB power outages
• HT switchgear servicing
• Electrical load migration
