Information Technology team - Singapore

IT Service Management Support provides A&O Shearman (AOS) with an initial point of contact for providing first and second line resolution for IT support calls, requests and reporting. What you will do

Job Description

• To design, develop and implement software solutions for BMS system including chiller systems, HVAC, security, fire alarm and etc.
• To design P&ID diagram
• To collaborate with engineering team to gather requirements and specification of BMS
• To write, debug and test the code to control and integrate with the existing BMS system 
• To monitor, troubleshoot and resolve the BMS related issues
• To develop and maintenance manuals of the developed BMS system including codes, logic diagrams and system configurations

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy related Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in the development of BMS for Chiller plants
• Proven track record of the successful delivery of projects
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to Chiller plants
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
• Possess the ability to use data insights to drive system performance improvements
• Possession of Niagara N4 certification is an added advantage, and having experience in BMS programming with Niagara framework and PLC control

Key Responsibilities

Functional specification

a. Responsible to analyse and define detailed functional specifications based on the functional and non-functional requirements document.

b. Collaborate with Functional Business Analyst to clarify functional and non-functional requirements.

c. Define and ensure traceability from functional specifications to business requirements.

Technical Design

a. Responsible to create technical design.

b. Ensure technical design adheres to architectural roadmap, Development practices, and security requirements.

c. In case of vendor implementation: Ensure vendor resources create technical design document.

d. Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to clarify functional specification and technical design during build, test and deployment phase.

e. Collaborate with Production Support to establish IT operations procedures and document as part of Tech Design.

f. Coordinate execution of threat modeling process with assistance of Security Architect to ensure implementation of safeguards is comprehensive in accordance with threats.

Testing & Scope Management

a. Clarify test findings escalated by Test Manager and classify the findings accordingly (either as a defect or change request).

b. Provide input to impact assessment and estimation for Project Change Request.

c. Work with Test Manager to review test plan and functional test scope.

• 1 - 2 years working experience with AML will be nice to have.

• AML/KYC Transaction Monitoring Experience (Actimize, Evidentzy, Net Reveal, Detica)

Essential Technical Skill :-

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL.

• Batch Scripting, Control M, DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic KYC/CDD reviews for clients and financial intermediaries

• Perform independent assessments of account structures, Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF)

• Work with Front Office to address review gaps and red flags within deadlines

• Track AML exit cases related to financial crime and reputational risk

• Coordinate cross-functional working groups (Compliance, Operations, Technology, Front Office)

• Support Client Lifecycle Management Target Operating Model (TOM) initiatives

• Develop SOPs, process flows, training materials, and documentation

• Conduct training for Front Office on AML policies and changes

• Prepare management reports and support ad-hoc initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent

• 2–3 years’ experience in AML/KYC, compliance, or controls within banking

• Strong knowledge of AML risks (PEP, sanctions, reputational risk)

• Familiarity with MAS, HKMA, FATF, Wolfsberg standards

• Understanding of banking products and account structures

• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Knowledge of VBA, Power BI, JIRA, or Agile tools is an advantage
